The answer is yes, it is. As for this thread, I unfortunately don't see it being well received as it is something we have been harping on since before the game came out.

They've been harping on it in the aforementioned thread, where it doesn't belong. Just thought I'd give everyone an appropriate place to do so.  It obviously hasn't work though.

There’s discussion about Serra Ascendant in a lot of different threads right now, but seeing how this is the most recent one dedicated to the topic, I wanted to give a brief update here to let you guys know we passed on your feedback to the designers. Good news is that they’re currently working to balance the card in 2HG. Unfortunately I can’t give a date on when the change will be implemented, but I want to make sure you all know that a change is in the works. I’ll let you all know more details as soon as I get them.

Depends what deck you are using. I can beat the life deck consistently with their early jump outs. They tend to run out of steam. It is cheap though to get a 6/6 one mana card on turn one that can kill a 6 mana Baneslayer Angel at 5/5.

My prediction is that they will change the wording to something like "As long as you have at least 10 life more than your starting life total, Serra Ascendant gets +5/+5 and has flying."

Life deck is useless without the SA in 2HG though. At least no one will use it and I won't have to worry about the Ajani/Jace team anymore....
