If you were to look at Odric, and you assigned him to a real life Earth nation, would you make him a Serbian?
As such, would Odric's name be pronounced as "Odrich", and not "Odrick"?

I feel that trying to pidgeonhole major characters into real world ethnic groups misses a lot of the point of high fantasy.

I pronounce his name with the hard "ck" sound, not the "ch" sound. He's thraban(is this the right word?) in the fluff, so...

But c'mon man, who doesn't want to pronounce odric's name like Stojakovic, Kristic, or Milanovic?
You know what? I'm going to call Odric, Beno. You know, Beno Odric.

I pronounce his name like "Godric" from True Blood, minus the "G." Godric was from Gaul circa first century B.C. so there might be a point of naming origin for you to work with. I'm with HairlessThoctar on this though. It seems silly to be trying to force fantasy personalities into real-world locations.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in an thread with GM_Champion" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go in against AzureShade when card design is on the line!

I will admit, I like to imagine that Krenko sounds like a Russian mafiya boss. :P And to be fair, Serbia is in the part of the world that Innistrad draws its real world origins from, so if you need Odric to be a Serb to make your life complete; more power to ya.

As long as Odric is Eastern European, I can pronounce his name as Odric, the same way you pronounce Beno Udrih's name.

Innistrad is based on northern and eastern Europe, IIRC. The northern elements are present in some of the names (Nephalia instead of Westphalia, Gavony instead of Saxony) and some word cells (graf, geist), while a lot of Hollywood horror was set in Romania.
Clever deduction Watson! Maybe you can explain why Supergirl is trying to kill me.
