This deck is pretty good in my opinion but I find that it's unreliable in getting Kiln Fiend or Delver out and keeping them alive. I'm not sure what to add and take out. Any ideas/comments/constructive criticism are/is welcome. Creatures 4x Kiln Fiend 4x Delver of Secrets Spells 4x Noxious Revival 4x Apostle's Blessing 4x Mutagenic Growth 4x Assault Strobe 4x Distortion Strike 4x Gitaxian Probe 4x Lightning Bolt 4x Brute Force Lands 10x Island 10x Mountain I'm thinking about putting in some Ponders/Brainstorms or anything that has to do with library manipulation to more reliably get Kiln Fiend out. I might switch out the Lightning Bolts for Gut Shots but unsure about if they're worth it for being able to be free in exchange for the 2 points. Also, I probably want a back up plan so I'm thinking about including Reforge the Soul or anything that draws a lot of cards. That's about all the ideas I have besides the obvious like dual lands.

tbh id make the deck less centered around kiln, not more - if you want it to be a gimmicky kind of deck you can center it more ofc but it will be very unreliable in exchange for a few, albeit very convincing and fun wins. id get rid most of the phyrexian mana, and 1-2 strobe as well as the brute forces switching in more burn spells. for sure include 4 ponder style cards consider 1-2 gelectrode and/or wee dragonauts for a deck centered entirely around kiln and a t3/4 win i'd probably cut delver, and get 8+ ponder style cards.

Delver is cool and all but cards like Augur of Bolas would allow you to dig out more instant and sorcery cards while Talrand, Sky Summoner will give you more bang for your buck.

I currently have a sleeved-up deck that sits lonely in my card box, never getting played, that I built around Kiln Fiend and Charmbreaker Devils along with nothing else but lands and burn spells. The deck's lack of consistency boils down to only having 8 creatures in it. With my dudes only making up 13% of my deck, I don't draw enough of them and when I do, they end up being too vulnerable to removal when I get them out. If your heart is set on winning using Fiend-style spell-breathing, you'll need to up the number of dudes with that type of ability. Charmbreaker Devils fit the bill, and get your spells back for re-use as a bonus. I do not own any Wee Dragonauts , but if I did I would convert my deck to blue-red to run them; you're already in those colors so you're already halfway there. Gelectrode , Surrakar Spellblade , and Sphinx-Bone Wand are all cards that would also work well with this type of strategy. Too bad I don't own any of them either. Might have to remedy that in the near future...

My deck with it's changes looks like this now. CREATURES 2x Gelectrode 2x Wee Dragonauts 2x Augur of Bolas 4x Kiln-Fiend SPELLS 2x Preordain 2x Brainstorm 4x Ponder 4x Lightning Bolt 4x Gut Shot 2x Assault Strobe 4x Brute Force 4x Distortion Strike 4x ??? (it's between Apostle's Blessing and Gitaxian Probe it could be anything else if the deck calls for it) LANDS 8x Mountain 8x Island 2x Teetering Peaks 2x Smoldering Spires Also, I'm thinking about getting a couple Manamorphose and want to know what to take out if it makes the cut.

Charmbreaker Devils + Assault Strobe + Revenge of the Hunted = 32 points of trampling damage. I have a deck built around that combo. It also uses swarms of wolves as a means of getting damage through reliably.
