The griffins also combo with Captain's call, so when weighing them both it comes up null. Leaving only 2 cards that combo with the Primadox over the call.
I like the primadox, but I also don't want to get caught with him as the only creature on the board, which results in him acting as a 4/4 wall each turn that has to be recast for 4.
Tolkein was a jerk. Seriously, what DM sends 9 Wraith Lords at a Lvl 2 party of Halflings.
The only 'correct' way to play D&D is by whatever method is making the group you have at that session, have the most fun.

We have 2 Protectors (Pick 4 pack 1, pick 1 pack 3)
Wow... Ok, I don't know how I missed that one, but I obviously did.
We also already have a Fungal Sprouting...
... After some consideration, I still choose the second Primadox. But it was a less easy pick after realizing that we do indeed have 2 Protectors.

I want to take Primadox or Call, but we already have seven four-drops and three five-drops with that last Spider which is partly why I voted for the Ring last pick, also, the green Ring is just really really good in a green deck.
We also only have two two-drop creatures and four three-drops. Curve is getting pretty high with another four drop pick here, not to mention we aren't very likely to have much to return to hand if we play a Primadox so having two seems a little awkward...Not sure how often you want to play a Titanic Growth though on turn two, so I don't think that really helps our curve much.
I guess I will go with the Call.

primadox is good with protectors though. it's not a one-time giant growth, but it ensures we have a creature to land every turn. it's not explosive, but it's consistent.
120.6. Some effects replace card draws.

Call or Seek. I don't really like Primadox with our curve.
