Karn finally says, "You know what...**** it. Urza made me go blow **** up. Bolas!!! Tag....your it!"
I'm pretty sure the Null Moon orbital laser has had a sufficient amount of time to recharge.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in an thread with GM_Champion" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go in against AzureShade when card design is on the line!

Pretty sure the Null Moon orbital mana battery has a big honking hole punched in it from when the Legacy Weapon flew right through the middle of the thing. Also, Bolas can only be killed by a Hammer of Bogardan . Hey, it worked the last time, no?

In only slightly related news: Jace V Professor X. I know X is much more powerful and skilled, but his powers are based on some physical thing in his brain (I assume), meaning he has to get to the mind through the target's brain. Jace shouldn't have this problem. So does the difference matter? Or would it only matter with someone closer to Jace's power/skill level.

Actually ib AoA its depicted that Jace simply is a telepath. His ability is enhanced by mana and magic but its not a skill he "learned " That said... I think its ans even match.

Not even close.
Maybe it would have been close before the films but as soon as Patrick Stewart was cast as Xavier then he became immortal and all powerful.
True fact.

Better question, what does Nicol Bolas want with the lightbulb?

Given how composed Picard was and the fact that Patrick Stewart was a classically trained shakespearean actor, it is absolutely flooring to hear the crap he's willing to say. Of course, there again, this is the guy who actively WANTS to be cast as Spider Jerusalem if they ever make a live action adaptation of Transmetropolitan so...

Reassembling the Legacy Weapon seems like it could provide plenty of interesting stories for an ensemble cast while providing a nod to pre-Mending history.
