K, so li'l brother snuck into my room and made himself a deck. And right in the morning when I woke up there he was standing by my bedroom door, deck in hand and says,"I challenge you to a game!" I was amused so I grabbed my crappy Myr deck(the deck was made out of nostalgia,... God I  Myrs), and we began to play. No way in hell was I to win, even with my little brother's deck making skills. So I took a look at it and this is what I saw:
23 Forest
3 Wild Cantor
1 Coiling Oracle
4 Somberwald Dryad
1 Garruk's Companion
1 Learherback Baloth
1 Nettle Swine
4 Hollowhenge Beast
1 Stampeding Rhino
4 Kindercatch
1 Vastwood Gorger
1 Vorstclaw
3 Lumengrid Gargoyle
1 Quilled Slagwurm

1 Vanguard's Shield
3 Serpent Skin
2 Savage Silhouette
1 Angel's Tomb
1 Sarpadian Empires, Vol. VII
1 Titan Forge
1 Vastwood Zendikon

Now considering the kid's 8 I was fairly impressed, the deck shows mana curve and there's regeneration, a key aspect in green. Now, instead of buying him an intro deck, I thought I'd give him of something of his own design. But, I'm asking your guys opinion and help with this deck. But, I would like to keep in coiling oracle, my brother always had a thing for that card. So seeing on how I am cheap nothing over $2 per card.

not a bad deck, but hell there're a lot of vanilla cards, who have some pretty high costs, if u want you could add in a
Borderland Ranger   in there so he can fetch lands more effectively, or even add in a
[c]traveler's amulet[c\] for more mana, if you could get ur hands on a [c]Troll Hide[c\] it would be a nice replacement for his serpant skin, free +2/+2 and regeneven if the price is higher than serpant skin, and u could also reduce the number of somberwald dyrid and and in a runeclaw bear or something just for soild and some over run

Brawn and Primal Rage would love to hang out with those otherwise vanilla beasts.

Greater Good or Hunter's Insight and/or Garruk's Packleader , as well.

The Coiling Oracle should go, as I cannot see how he would cast it.  Yet, since you want to keep it, perhaps shift the deck to UG and taste those delicious UG cards from Ravnica and Alara.  Ugly things can be done, in a very aggressive manner... but with blue, it all flies!

If interested, I can post a decklist for a simple UG smash deck.

Cheers!

He sacs his Wild Cantor to create blue mana, he just wanted to add the card. But a sample of a simple UG deck would be fantastic!

Interesting.  I'd always treated Wild Cantor as being able to only provide R or G.  Hmmm...

Anyhow, a simple UG Smash

Land 24
12x Island
12x Forest

or 10 each and 4x Terramorphic Expanse

Creatures 26
4x Coiling Oracle
4x Assault Zeppelid
4x Trygon Predator
4x Winged Coatl
4x Slippery Bogle
2x Simic Sky Swallower
2x Murkfiend Liege
1x Momir Vig, Simic Visionary
1x Overbeing of Myth

Noncreatures 10
4x Rampant Growth
4x Snakeform or Unsummon
2x Aether Mutation

While fairly repetitious, it runs his chosen card and maximizes the creature count.

Cheers!
