So, question. Let's say I've got a field full of Exalted cards (oh, I dunno, eight creatures with Exalted) and I attack with Hero of Bladehold . Does she gain the benefits of Exalted?

Yes, as long as she is the only creature you declared as attacker. Having more creatures enter the battlefield attacking afterwards will not affect exalted.
I'm a Rules Advisor now "Simple questions" usually need rather complex answers, while complex questions often come down to no more than a simple "yes" or "no". Some of my favorite Flavor texts:

As long as she attacks alone, yes.
The tokens she makes when she attacks cannot possibly attack during that combat phase since they didnt exist at the time they would need to in order for them to do so (its only because it is too late for them to attack that they exist in the first place). They enter the battlefield already attacking, and after the Exalted triggers have been put on the stack.
Unlike when her Battlecry ability is triggered, it doesnt even matter which order you put her token making ability and the Exalted triggers on the stack, either.

Not bad. But what happens flavor wise when one kamahl kills the other one?
Zis iz a sign uf deep psychological troma, buried in zer subconscious mind. By keelink himzelf, Kamahl iz physically expressink hiz feelinks uf self-disgust ova hiz desire for hiz muzzer. [/GermanPsychologistVoice]
That makes no sense to me.
If they spelled the ability out on the card in full then it would not be allowed in a mono-black Commander deck, but because they used a keyword to save space it is allowed?

Yup, just like you can have Birds of paradise in a mono green deck but not Noble Hierarch . YAY COLOR IDENTITY
Is algebra really that difficult?
Survey says yes.

Alright, second half of this question - do the tokens gain the benefit of Battle Cry? For that matter, if I were to create a token with Militia's Pride , would that token gain the benefit of her Battle Cry?

It depends on the order. If you proc the token-making ability before the battle cry, then yeah, it's legal.
However, there's a new card in M13 that grants all creatures exalted. Note that those creatures won't proc for your Hero of Bladehold , since they didn't exist when she attacked.
Also, multiple instances of exalted are not redundant. (Again, I think exalted should've been an ability word, but that's just me.)
This is Magic. Timing issues happen all the time.
Clever deduction Watson! Maybe you can explain why Supergirl is trying to kill me.

I have to ask, what is "proc" supposed to mean? Is there some meme I have missed, or is it a YGO reference or something?
@ OP: click the link in your own post to the Hero's Gatherer page and look at the Rulings at the bottom - that should help clear a few things up for you.

"Proc" is an MMO term, referring to when an ability or item triggers (for example, a dagger that has a 15% chance to deal additional fire damage is said to have a "fire proc". When it goes off, it "procs").

Hmm. I dont play MMOs so I hadnt heard it before the last few days. I hope it doesnt catch on...
In this case does it even work, since the Hero's abilitys both trigger at the same time, so can you even "proc" one before the other?
Either way, its yucky and I dont like it. *stamps foot*

Since you choose what order they go on the stack, then yes. In any event, neither procs on the other; they both proc when she attacks.
Admittedly the term is sorta clumsy in situations where aforementioned event is under a player's control and not that of random chance.

I am pretty sure I read on another thread here (in addition to the MMO reference) that it is short for procedure. For the record, I don't like it either.
