with it not being in the original 10 and supposedly not in the expansion since they've been revealed, will an artifact deck ever be released? i ask bc it was my favorite deck in the previous duels and was disappointed not to see it this time around

I liked the artifact deck a lot. Similarly, I also miss an Elves and/or Vampires deck, although I'm sure most people think they were overplayed, I liked them because they had a lot of character.

I was hoping for an 'artifact' deck as well. Surprised they would another Aura or even Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind  deck again over an artifact one. Oh well.

Aura themes and Niv-Mizzet tie into Ravnica better. I don't remember any of the guilds being about or interested in a ton of artifacts.

I had a brainstorm that they might try a 5-colour Karn Artifact deck. Naturally the deck would be predominantly artifacts, but also have certain 5 colour cards ( Legacy Weapon  ) and/or win conditions ( Coalition Victory  Door to Nothingness  ). Just a brainstorm though. A competitive 5-colour deck, while ambitious, might be difficult to manage in this medium.

I don't know much about the guilds, but the Izzet sound like they could use artifacts.

Glass Golem  does mention Izzet artificers, but there were only two  artifacts  with the Izzet watermark and as a whole Ravnica block was a little light on artifacts.
