Flickerwisp also allows you to pacifism any creature except those with protection from (the properties of pacifism (white/enchantment)). This includes hexproof. Whilst you need to target whilst casting, you merely 'choose' the permanent (creature) it reattaches to.

Are you sure this is how it's supposed to work?  Choosing a permanent is the very definition of "targetting" it.  I can't find any errata on this, can someone provide a link?

Auras returning to the battlefield are placed on any legal permanent of your choice. Doing this does not target the permanent. If there is no legal permanent for an Aura, it remains in the graveyard.

This is how it's supposed to work. I don't have a link, but we had this discussion before with Retether and somebody quoted the rules there. "Target" is a keyword, that's why hexproof creatures can be sacrificed. The player chooses a creature to sacrifice, he doesn't target it to do so, unless the card says he does.

Well that's pretty interesting, then.  Now I really wish PK had more Flickerwisps in it...

Yeah, that's pretty revelatory. Time to start making space for Flickerwisps and Pacifisms...

So wait, how does this process work.

Suppose yuo have a hexproof troll on the board and a blood artist.

I have a flickerwisp and pacifism in my hand.

How am I getting the pacifism on the troll, step by step?

I cast it on the Blood Artist then flickerwisp him and it will allow me to choose the troll as the pacifism comes back into play?

No, if you Flickerwisp the Blood Artist, the Aura goes to the graveyard. You have to target Pacifism with the Flickerwisp, then choose the troll when it comes back from exile. Remember, these cards in question are returning from exile, not being cast from your hand.

How to exile any targettable permanent for the duration of the (first) opponents turn every turn.

1. Flickerwisp onto the battlefield, your choice of permanent to exile, it will come back during your turn.
2. Followed footsteps on the flickerwisp.
3. Exile the followed footsteps with the token flickerwisp, at end of turn, followed footsteps comes back to the battlefield. Choose the token flickerwisp to enchant.
4. During each of your turns upkeep steps exile the original flickerwisp from the battlefield; this flickerwisp can return to the battlefield at your end step (unlike the token flickerwisps), and with this flickerwisp you can exile anything you want of the opponents and it will be gone for the duration of their turn. Try not to exile entities with 'enters the battlefield' or 'leaves the battlefield' triggers.

A variant exists for the nth opponent but would require 2 non-token flickerwisps on the battlefield to work.

If you get a better target for followed footsteps, you can also still move it using the flickerwisp.
