Have you ever attended a Magic the Gathering event where the prize payout wasn’t determined by your win/loss record? Would you like to? Would you like to win prizes just for showing up? Would you like to learn how to play Magic the Gathering EDH/Commander?

Join us on Saturday, July 21st at Level Up Games in S. St. Paul, MN for a full day of nothing but Magic the Gathering EDH/Commander! We will start playing at 10:00am when the shop opens and play until everyone has had their fill (midnight or later).

Event info:

Registration fee $10

Level 1 Judge on site

Snacks and beverages available on site

Three event categories:

Competitive – Infinite combos and win by turn 6 elite decks.

Casual/Competitive – If you have been playing a while and like the interactions with people, but still want to beat them down.

Casual – No infinite combos, board lockdown, massive control. This category is for those new to the game and would like to play longer fun games.

Prize payouts will be done on a point system*, and points can be redeemed for store credit instead of just packs. This means if there is a card you want and you have some store credit built up from the day, you can use it to get the card or item you want.

Raffles will be happening throughout the day (must be present to win). For every $10 you spend at Level Up Games you will be entered into a raffle for an M13 Booster Box.

Random prize handout will also happen throughout the day, the owners of Level Up Games like to surprise people with nice gifts. That’s how they roll!

Bring your trades to the shop and haggle with the other players to get those cards you’ve been wanting and haven’t been able to find. Trade ideas with the other players and help each other improve your game. Have a good time with others that share your passion for playing EDH/Commander.
