Not a bug in the strictest sense, but I consider bugs and intentionally terrible design the same thing. Anyhoo, when a card is "revealed" it's actually just flashed at you for all of about 2 seconds, whereas in real magic you can basically take as long as you want to look at it (Hell, a common practice in srsbsns is to write down your opponent's hand when it's revealed ).
Nevermind, turns out the L2 button lets me look at the cards, so it's actually just a case of Guide Dang It.

Your human antics and desire to continue living have moved me. Just kidding. You cannot move me physically or emotionally. Wall humor.
Copy effects work like a photocopy machine: you get a copy of the 'naked' card, NOT of what's on it.
Funny story: InQuest Magazine (I think it was InQuest) had an oversized Chaos Orb which I totally rooked someone into allowing into a (non-sanctioned) game. I had a proxy card that was a Mountain with "Chaos Orb" written on it. When I played it, my opponent cried foul:
Him: "WTF? a Proxy? no-one said anything about Proxies. Do you even own an actual Chaos Orb?" Me: "Yes, but I thought it would be better to use a Proxy." Him: "No way. If you're going to put a Chaos Orb in your deck you have to use your actual Chaos Orb." Me: "*Sigh*. Okay."
I pulled out this huge Chaos Orb and placed it on the table. He tried to cry foul again but everyone else said he insisted I use my actual Chaos Orb and that was my actual Chaos Orb. I used it, flipped it and wiped most of his board.
Unsurprisingly, that only worked once and only because everyone present thought it was hilarious.

no, see i can kill defenders, but 8 consecutive crits on a battlemind, eh walk it off.
Hi guys! So, I'm a sort of returning player to Magic. I say sort of because as a child I had two main TCG's I liked. Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon. Some of my friends branched off in to Magic, and I bought two pre-made decks just to kind of fit in. Like I said, Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon were what I really knew how to play. I have a extensive knowledge of deck building in those two TCG's. However, as far as Magic is concerned, I only ever used those two pre made decks. I know how the game is played, and I know general things, but now I want to get in the game for real. I want to begin playing it as a regular. My question is, are all cards ever released from the time of the inception of this game until present day fair game in a deck? Or are there special rules? Are some cards forbidden or restricted? Thanks guys, and I will gladly accept ANY help lol.
I have the same problem with women.
Is this my new ego sig? Yes it is, other Barry

And that's why you should never, ever call RP Jesus on being a troll, because then everyone else playing along gets outed, too, and the thread goes back to being boring.
See, this is why RPJesus should be in charge of the storyline. The novel line would never have been cancelled if he had been running the show. Specifically the Slobad and Geth's Head talkshow he just described.
Not only was that an obligatory joke, it was an on-topic post that still managed to be off-topic due to thread derailment. RP Jesus does it again folks.
I think I'm gonna' start praying to Jesus... That's right, RPJesus, I'm gonna' be praying to you, right now.
O' Jesus
Please continue to make my time here on the forums fun and cause me to chuckle.
Amen.
It was wonderful. Us Johnnies had a field day. That Timmy with the Grizzly bears would actually have to think about swinging into your Mogg Fanatic , giving you time to set up your silly combo . Nowadays it's all DERPSWING! with thier blue jeans and their MP3 players and their EM EM OH AR PEE JEES and their "Dewmocracy" and their children's card games and their Jersey Shores and their Tattooed Tenaged Vampire Hunters from Beverly Hills
Seriously, that was amazing. I laughed my *ss off. Made my day, and I just woke up.

I have a bug that I've heard absolutely nobody complain about, but it's happened to me multiple times:
Greater Good: Instead of only once drawing and discarding, it does it twice. So for instance I use it on a 3/3 token: it draws 3 cards and let's me discard 3 cards, then once more draws 3 cards and let's me discard 3 cards.
I play on PC. Can anyone confirm this or is it just me?

Another one: Often when I there is a situation where I get to pick a land out of my library and I get the to choose a land from this list of lands it shows up twice instead of once. A bit irritating, but not actually affecting the game.
Once again, just me or are there others who have this too?

Yeah, I had this bug; I reported it awhile ago. It's not just with Greater Good - it also effects the Elders. It was speculated that it could be a lag issue in multiplayer, which makes sense, since the bug is fairly rare (for me). I've also seen in 2hg my partner activate an Evolving Wilds and not get a land in response - this happened during lag so it seems like there's a general issue here. My only work around has been to do take actions that require land fetch when nothing else is going on - wait a few seconds before doing it, pause the timer if necessary. I don't know if this actually works or if I've just been lucky, but I haven't seen the bug in awhile.

Reporting a bug, didn't see it on the front page. On iPad, I could not activate the Pale Recluse land cycling abilities. I drew it three games in a row and it could not be activated. Exact problem. Pale Recluse in hand. I would zoom in on the card and select the ability. The card would unzoom so I could select the land I wanted to use for the ability. I would hit the "activate ability" button and the screen would just go back to showing me my hand.

Yeah you're probably right, but sometimes it's just not possible to do so. mainly a problem when playing against other SS or Jace's

Playing on ipad3, I see 21/23 achievements, but Im sure I have completed them all. I have seen that this bug has also been reported by other users, but is there any solution to fix it or are there any plans to fix it soon? Thanks !

planechase xbox 360. Prahv plane + sun titan = fail EDIT: to elaborate: When attacking with sun titan on the prahv plane the game doesn't let you return a card with CMC 3 or less from the graveyard to play (as it should do, see sun titan 's ability) -- it lets you go through the motions of selecting a card from the graveyard, but after you select the card, the card just stays in the graveyard and play resumes (at least this is how it acted with enchantments, which is what I was trying to fetch in my case). It's pretty obvious that the game incorrectly recognises returning a card from the graveyard as playing a card, which are actually two quite obviously different actions.

On the Xbox you can hit the left trigger to zoom in on the last played or revealed card, so you can look at for as long as you want then (timers pending). When zoomed in that way, you can just use the analouge stick to cycle through the last played/revealed cards.
