As cool as this is, I woudln't dare play it until infect rotates.
There's no worse feeling than dropping this and then getting wounded .
-2 respect points for implying players play Virulent Wound .
-2 more for forgetting Tempered Steel and Hex Parasite .
Virulent Wound still sees plenty of play in fast infect decks here. Especially against the delver

Not sure if intentional or not, but just thought it was funny how this was worded. Like Delver of Secrets is so (in)famous that it is no refered to as "a delver," but "THE delver." hahaha

Ugh, they changed the wording, and thus it's use.
Still, a welcome return!
Printed wording (original wording):
As Stuffy Doll comes into play, choose a player. Stuffy Doll is indestructible. Whenever damage is dealt to Stuffy Doll, it deals that much damage to the chosen player. : Stuffy Doll deals 1 damage to itself. Oracle wording: As Stuffy Doll enters the battlefield, choose a player. Stuffy Doll is indestructible. Whenever Stuffy Doll is dealt damage, it deals that much damage to the chosen player. : Stuffy Doll deals 1 damage to itself. First ability of both: As Stuffy Doll comes into play, choose a player. | As Stuffy Doll enters the battlefield, choose a player. Looks the same to me, functionality-wise. Only difference is the 'enters the battlefield' terminology being used in place of 'comes into play,' which was the whole point. Second ability: Stuffy Doll is indestructible.
No difference there at all. Third ability: Whenever damage is dealt to Stuffy Doll, it deals that much damage to the chosen player. || Whenever Stuffy Doll is dealt damage, it deals that much damage to the chosen player. 'Damage is dealt to Stuffy Doll' means the exact same as 'Stuffy Doll is dealt damage,' so no difference there. Fourth ability: : Stuffy Doll deals 1 damage to itself. || : Stuffy Doll deals 1 damage to itself. Exact same ability; no difference here. So how, exactly, is the card functionally different?

I'd just like to ask if you were held in a time rift for four weeks before responding to this thread...?

Some people just don't like to read spoilers before the set is (pre-)released

Nah, I just didn't get to this thread for a while because of RL stuff, and I was more interested in the cards I didn't yet know when I did look at the forum, so then I finally got to this one and saw that and since he never answered the other guy who asked what differences existed, I thought I'd ask again.
