I have Phyrexian Metamorph on Runeclaw Bear and I cast Clone on the metamorph. Will it be an original Bear or an Artifact Bear?

Copy effects are included in the copiable text of a permanent. The artifactness will be picked up by Clone.

It will be an Artifact Creature - Bear.

706.2. (...) The "copiable values" are the values derived from the text printed on the object (that text being name, mana cost, color indicator, card type, subtype, supertype, expansion symbol, rules text, power, toughness, and/or loyalty), as modified by other copy effects, by "as . . . enters the battlefield" and "as . . . is turned face up" abilities that set characteristics, and by abilities that caused the object to be face down. Other effects (including type-changing and text-changing effects), status, and counters are not copied.

Artifact Positive- You're copying the state of the Metamorph, not the bear.

Ah this is what confused me I think. The artifact part is part of the copy effect because it's one ability on the Metamorph?

Copy effects are explicitly listed in the rule. Note "as modified by other copy effects". Any type-changing or ability-adding that part of a copy effect is copiable. For example, a Clone of a Phantasmal IMage will be an Illusion with the illusory ability.

Yeah I thought 'copy effects' referred to just the copying itself and not any additional modifiers =)

Thanks all!

this is misleading
it has nothing to do with a state

eg. a Clone copying a Runeclaw Bear that is an artifact because of Liquimetal Coating would not be an artifact.

Resuming, Clone copy the object created by a specific card (in this case, Phyrexian Metamorph ) and not the card, right?

right
you can't choose another creature to copy if you Clone a Phyrexian Metamorph , you copy whatever the Morph is currently copying
