Hello forumgoers, I have a fun little contest for you.
This is how it will work: Each week I'll post a concept I think would be fun/cool to design for, and readers will submit decklists. At the end, I will say which I liked best and do a short review of each one.
So, let's get to it!
Note: I will be gone in a few weeks and have limited computer access, so there will probably be a lullthen
You can use the mana for activated abilities of artifacts during your upkeep, so a lot of the action will be going on then. Pretty quickly you will have enough mana for a lethal comet storm, but you can use them beforehand to take out threats. Titan forge works too.
You have some proliferate engines, with charge, gambit, and throne, and you also have a perfect way to keep Earthen Goo alive if you have braids out, pumping him simultaneously. Bonfire of the Damned seems a bit obvious since it is the best burn, esp if you miracle it, and Increasing Confusion is just funny if you have a bunch of age counters and get a ton of mana in ur mana pool to deck them just as an alternate win-con.
For this one I thought I'd try and stay away from Throne of Geth based proliferate, despite how effective it is, (mainly because it looks like Maraxas and wbeard have got it pretty well covered ) so here's two slightly different ideas:
Pretty simple take on an infect deck – use the mana generated by the Braid to power up Balduvian Rage and hit for lethal poison early, or wait and use Viral Drake to proliferate ftw. Blighted Agent and Inkmoth Nexus are the stars for getting in the early poison damage.
The obvious strategy is to power up Braid until you get enough mana for a nice Storm or your Shrine is big enough to end the game. Alternatively you can go all Vampire Aggro (those vamps love proliferate), beating them into the ground before they’ve got started and, if they try to stall you, using Braid to activate the Falkenrath Exterminator to clear their board.
You guys know you can't use the mana from braid of fire on a sorcery without something like Quicken , right? It sounds like you might be under that impression, so just a friendly tip I guess.

You sure about that? I figured that the upkeep cost is adding R to your manapool for each age counter on it. Then since your manapool doesn't empty until the end of your turn, you can use that mana any way you want. Why would I have to play a spell with "x" in its cost at instant speed?
My take on a deck, utilizes land destruction together with Braid of fire to ensure you are the only one with mana! Win conditions are Hellkites or massive Comet storms. Braid of fire + Magmatic Core makes a neat lockdown combo against aggression as well.
