There are two-hundred forty nine cards in Magic 2013. Roughly forty of each color. Four of each basic land. That leaves twenty nine cards up for grabs in the multicolor/artifact/nonbasic land area.

Any thoughts on what will fill those last twenty nine slots?

Please do not flood with more shock land discussion.

Well since bolas is confirmed I'd bet that some of those 40 for each color are taken by a few multicolored, 5 or 10 dual lands as they always have them, aritfacts, and other whatnot.

That depends on if they just do allied pairs or both allied and enemy.

One that stands out would be terminate   Not overpowered, simple to understand and meets the requirement s of both being in color for both sides of R/B

Oh, okay, if you say so.

So, how about shocklands?  That would be sweet.  I'm just surprised they're doing multicolored at all.

Come check out my friend's youtube channel where he gives bad movies what's coming to them!

We're using standard edition war rules.  No posts of substance.  Do not read the other person's posts with comprehension.  Make frequent comparison to video games, MMOs, and CCGs.  Use the words "fallacy" and "straw man", incorrectly and often.  Passive aggressiveness gets you extra points and asking misleading and inflammatory questions is mandatory.  If you're getting tired, just declare victory and leave the thread.  Wait for the buzzer... and....

One, two, three, four, I declare Edition War

D&D should not return to the days of blindfolding the DM and players. No tips on encounter power? No mention of expected party roles? No true meaning of level due to different level charts or tiered classes? Please, let's not sacrifice clear, helpful rules guidelines in favour of catering to the delicate sensibilities of the few who have problems with the ascetics of anything other than what they are familiar with.

Just a quick note on the MMORPG as an insult comparison...

MMORPGs, raking in money by the dumptruck full.  Many options, tons of fans across many audiences, massive resources allocated to development.

TTRPGs, dying product.  Squeaking out an existence that relys on low cost.  Fans fit primarily into a few small demographics.  R&D budgets small, often rushed to market and patched after deployment.

You're not really making much of an argument when you compare something to a MMORPG and assume people think that means bad.  Lets face it, they make the money, have the audience and the budget.  We here on this board are fans of TTRPGs but lets not try to pretend none of us play MMORPGs.

Telling someone to move over a few feet is magical now? :|

Given the laziness and morbid obsesity amongst D&Ders, being able to convince someone to get on their feet, do some heavy exercise, and use their words to make them be healthier must seem magical.

I don't think he cares if we think they're printing shocklands.  He doesn't want us discussing them in yet another thread.

I agree with the shocklands, actually.  o///o

But I also think they're going to probably put a few multicolored cards in there.  Not many, and probably not at common.

I'd like to see either Vindicate or, more likely, Mortify , but I doubt they'll print enemy paired stuff in a core set.

Even better i could hope for Onslaught Fetch Lands and Shocklands and then standard would cost way to much to play.

Last two core sets had 22 and 23 artifacts, plus 6-8 nonbasics. I don't see room for multicolor.
