My casual colorless control.  The main idea is to stall the game until you get a karn liberated on the battlefield. Hopefully by then i have tutored for a wincon like darksteel colossus with mangara's tome or planar portal (what is ur guys preference?).

Im pretty sure that winter orb doesnt have a place in this deck.  The orb i think slows me down too much aswell. If i get rid of them the i will replace them with 2 sol rings.  I currently dont have the budget for vesuva

i wanted to run lodestone golem but i think my deck already lacks enough playsets.

This is how i would hope the game goes:
  • stall with control like orb of dreams/various other artifacts...
  • If they get creatures down then use the ensnaring bridge/bottled cloister combo...
  • Then eventually ramp up to have enough to cast planar portal
  • Tutor for 1-2 blightsteels or whatever card i need
  • Then cast karn
  • Exile the blightsteels
  • Then restart the game
  • Swing for the win with 1-2 blightsteels with 11-22 infect.
  • Do a victory dance
  • <('~'<)>  (>'~')>  Woot!

Suggestions?

*EDIT*
-3 winter orb   not as helpful as i wanted it to be
-3 mangara's tome  portal is better imo
+ 1 karn liberated    i was forced to scoop when someone duressed my karn :[
+4 Planar Portal   easier tutoring
+1 sol ring     better chance of an explosive turn 1-2 play
+1 amulet of vigor  i drew orb of dreams more often and slowed my self down.

It is currently 61 cards because i need to test it some more to see what to take out...maybe a mana web...but they are so much fun...

lands: 22
4 cloudpost
4 urza's tower
4 urza's power plant
4 urza's mine
4 glimmerpost
2 deserted temple

artifacts: 39
4 amulet of vigor
3 sol ring
4 expedition map
2 blightsteel colossus
3 orb of dreams
4 bottled cloister
3 ensnaring bridge
3 null brooch
3 All is dust
3 karn liberated
4 Planar Portal
3 Winter orb

Sideboard                    need more ideas
4 Trinisphere      affinity or other aggro.
4 defense grid    use for control
2 winter orb

*EDIT 2*
-3 defense grid
-4 mana web
-1 sol ring
-3 jester's scepter
+3 winter orb           since mana web wasnt as helpful as i thought it was, but it combos well with this card.  I hope the maps will help with this.
+3 All is Dust                  a wipe  before i cast karn is always helpful
+4 expedition map                   help incase i get mana screwed aint drawing the right part of the urzatron set.

Well...the tome is better, but it's more all in. If you lose it, your tutoring was for nothing.
Karn is easy to use. The best option being +4 crap out of your hand and restart ftw.
Kinda neat, totally colorless control.  How has it been playin?

Its been fantastic! I took 1st place with this in a friendly casual tourney xp. The difference is that i

-1 winter orb
-4 mangara tome
+4 planar portal
+1 karn

Winter orb was situationally helpful and i realised after someone destroyed karn that i was glad i sideboarded another karn mangara didnt work as effective because it was helpful if i had a bottled cloister out but when it ddidnt i only had 50% chance of getting one of the two blightsteels. So i replaced it with a planar that didnt even seem to slow me down even though it takes 12 mana compared to 7.  it works well and is very enjoyable.

@jnp5021

well no one really plays any fantastic casual decks there but if i was to play any deck and fear it, it would probably be REALLY fast aggro/ heavier control decks.
Even soft control decks can  beat me easily if i dont get a defense grid up quick enough.  I could lose out to a turn 1 thoughtseize but that is why i run more than 1 karn now xP. I need to make sure the bottled cloister up ASAP so i cant be hymn to tourach Burn i can see to be a problem but as long as i can keep their mana tapped then... Trinisphere may be helpful vs Burn and faster aggro such as Affiity (one person played affinity-esque deck but i didnt vs him). I also wouldnt have many problems with trinisphere because i dont have too many cards that are playable with 2 mana and my deck takes off mostly on 3 mana.

All is Dust can be useful for you since mana cost isn't as much of an issue. Ratchet Bomb and Powder Keg can be used for early board wipes.
My Trade Thread

Control capabilities are in all the colors. The difference is in the way they say no.

Feldon's cane won't really help u unless you have a super strong draw engine-which you don't.
Something like everflowing chalice + contagion engine could help you out, giving you accel and a way out of board clog. Also puts counters on your walkers and ratchet bombs.
A way to reuse ratchet could be nice...tho I'm not sure what would be best

An i dea to reuse them would be either myr retriever or skeleton shard ...Ilike all is dust but adding in the ratchet and powder keg may clog up too much space.  I could just get rid of some cards and replace them with those. If i ran them i would also definantly run the engine. It might be nice to run the board wipes in case i dont get an ensnaring bridge and cloister combo. I will test em.
