I really wish that Fault Line had just been reprinted...sure, there is business about planeswalkers being included in the wording, but it is so annoying when cards are reprinted with different names. I've read articles regarding the justification for reprinting things with new names, but it doesn't change how absurd it is to have to go out and buy whatever card when one already has numerous copies at home waiting to be thrown into the recycling or garbage because of such a wasteful policy.
I love the new Cat token! I like it so much more than the Scars Cat token. Bummed the Zombie and Beast tokens recycle art, but we got new art on the Saproling token so that makes up for it. (Why aren't the Soldier tokens Human Soldiers? Boo.)
How to autocard (do this to specify a card in your posts): Type [c]Black Lotus[/c] to get Black Lotus . Type [c=Black Lotus]The Overpowered One[/c] to get The Overpowered One .
I saw some wicked tokens in D13, and here they are. Although, Saprolings weren't. I prefer the Sliver Overlord-looking Saproling myself, looks very Alien. But this new one I admit is quite freaky. Also, I've been thinking about the Soldier dilemma... they need to print a soldier token with a human soldier in the foreground, and a leonin soldier in the background, just to prove soldiers can be other races. But then again they specifically list out kor soldiers, goblin soldiers, and kithkin soldiers; I wouldn't mind all tokens being a class and a race.
I actually hate it. When I saw it on a spoiler list, I thought it was a joke, or a mistake. The card just makes zero sense. The flavor is horrendous: It's a hunter who goes after Typhoid Rats but won't hunt a Craw Wurm ? Plus, they tend to not to make cards that reference keywords in that way (such as "Creatures you control with hexproof get +1/+1") so this card feels weird in that it breaks that rule as well. I'm going to be angry every time I see that card. It just bugs me on every level.
This hunter is like a bird-watcher. She's got a very specific list of creatures left to "find," and those creatures are only notable for these particular abilities. Moreover, these abilities are part of Green's domain, i.e., an arsenal that helps you fetch largely, if not completely, Green creatures. Reach? That's a Spider; find a good one. Trample? There are plenty of Beasts about, but the best should be run from. Deathtouch? An Ooze, you say? Hexproof? Find a creature you can't shoot an arrow at.
(This is a pretty weak defense, but making something that's a Worldly Tutor variant not utterly broken, and unbounded as to minimum size (unlike Fierce Empath ) gives you a way to print a decent creature without making it horrible or borken.)
All in all, this set looks to be trying to bring the power-curve down a bit from recent sets. Good. The mythics looks like they are GOOD, but not over-powered. 'Bout f**king time.

"Ever since man first left his cave and met a stranger with a different language and a new way of looking at things, the human race has had a dream: to kill him, so we don't have to learn his language or his new way of looking at things." --- Zapp Brannigan (Beast With a Billion Backs)

Knock it off, WotC. Seriously.
Magmaquake is functionally different from Fault Line because it doesn't hit players. This is a totally new card that I don't believe has actually ever been printed before, with or without the "planeswalker" addendum.
Still no rarity indicators on tokens. Oh well. I know they've heard us so I guess it was just too late for them to implement it in M13.
Love that cat token.
Still waiting for a cute cuddly kitty token though...XD

the0uroboros asked: How in the same set can we have a hexproof, unsacrificable(not a word) creature AND a land that makes it uncounterable. How does this lead to interactive play?
I believe I’m able to play my creature and you have to deal with it is much more interactive than you counter my creature. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Post #777
I want tokens to come with magic card backs not advertisement the useless cards that I tape together for dividers do enough advertising as it is.
Learn about autocard here ==> [*c]Lightning Bolt[/*c] Remove "*" and you get Lightning Bolt .

I think it's obvious that players would prefer less advertisements. However, those are the entire point of those inserts. That is, they're designed to advertise, and the token on the other half is just there so players will keep them.
