So I'm not sure if it's been asked before but why don't the prerelease cards have the gold date stamped on them anymore? I really liked that. It was a little thing but it made the cards stand out. Anyone have any info on this?

Not to sure but I think most of the people hated it. I didnt really mind.. It was kinda cool, and kinda annoying at the same time. But I think the overal response was negative.

This Xathrid Gorgon doesn't sound fun to me, nor powerful.
In fact, I am reconsidering my participation to the pre-release event, as this card, sorry to say, is really bad.
Staff of Nin is good.
you base the fact if you want to play the pre-release on the promo?
I dont think you will ever play a pre-release =P
I do not like the way Xathrid Gorgon was worded at all. I would have prefered this wording:
"Put a petrification counter on target creature. For as long as it has a petrification counter on it, it can't attack or block, and its activated abilities can't be activated."
You got me thinking. Remember Sensei Golden-Tail from kamigawa?
That counter was completely pointless. Even if you removed the counter, it would still get the effect.
This is the same damn thing. It doesnt make sense.. Sure the counter sounds flavor wise, but rules-speaking: if you do manage to remove that counter, it stays a defender!
Weird design wizards.. Weird design.

It's for memory issues. Rather than having to remember which creatures are petrified, you can see at a glance which have counters on them.

Sorry, I am a not english-native speaker, and I just can't understand what kind of adjective defines Liliana Vess in today's video: "Liliana Vess, a ... (?) necromancer..."
Can someone help me?

I miss that, I noticed they dropped it for the Avacyn prerelease cards but I had hoped that it was just a mistake or oversight with the other stuff they had going on....

I already have a wallpaper-sized image of Odric with no border, but thanks for the effort.
