For this weeks Core Set vote I have... The Beacons... Beacon of Immortality Beacon of Tomorrows Beacon of Unrest Beacon of Destruction Beacon of Creation I think this would be a fun cycle to have back. They're a lot of fun for casual players, they're good in limited and some of them are even constructed playable. So yes from me. Discuss!

Black and green are the obvious winners.

I don't know if we need to see this particular cycle again, at least soon. We just did something similar with the Zeniths (the exception being the Zeniths are X spells and the Beacons aren't).
Q is also correct that B and G have the obvious power-level advantage.
I wouldn't mind at some point seeing something similar to what they did with the Leylines - printing a cycle mixed with old and new.

I wouldn't mind seeing new cards that triiger when in opening hand much like the leylines or the big scars block creature. Though the current innistrad block as already moved closer to luck over strategy via the miracles and this would only push it further if they were constructed playable cards, I still like that gimmick

I wouldn't mind seeing them again, or cousins to them.

The Bacon That Never Rests . Sooooo much fun... arguably the best reanimation spell (you know, essentially the same cost as Unburial Rites , hits opponents' yards and artifacts as well, recurses...)

I'd like to see them all again, or at least some of them (black, white, and red. the white ones I can get good trade for in my casual circle).
They are part of my dream core set - the one that will never see print as I have no influence with the powers that be.
Cheers!
