This is my favorite Innistrad plane, and possibly my favorite of them all. The two abilities work very well together, and the flavor of the card matches the flavor of the location perfectly.

I don't get the flavor.
My only thought is that all the creatures become vampires while here, and are then instantly ured when they leave... I guess it makes as much sense as curse of stalked prey.
