Desolate Lighthouse
Asume the card I draw with the lighthouse is the first card I drew that turn and that card has a miracle cost.

Do I need to discard before I can cast the miracle?

Yes.

Specifically, you must finish resolving the ability of Desolate Lighthouse before the Miracle ability even goes on the stack.

Note that if you want to cast the Miracle for it's alternate cost, then you must reveal it as you draw it. It then remains revealed until it's triggered ability resolves (or it changes zones).

If it's still in your hand when it's trigger resolves, you can cast it, but if it isnt (because you discarded it during the resolution of the Lighthouse's ability for example), then you cant.

Not bad. But what happens flavor wise when one kamahl kills the other one?

That makes no sense to me.

If they spelled the ability out on the card in full then it would not be allowed in a mono-black Commander deck, but because they used a keyword to save space it is allowed?

Yup, just like you can have Birds of paradise in a mono green deck but not Noble Hierarch . YAY COLOR IDENTITY

I love this description. Like the cows are sponges filled with milk. I can see it all Nick Parks claymation-style with the cow's eyes bugging out momentarily as a giant farmer squeezes it like a squeaky dog toy, and milk shoots out of it.
