My thoughts on this: - Probably no End step imho. Splattercat has sad evidence; - Drip-feeding is loathsome! It's like Apple delivering half-arsed products every year, taking less away from an original, thorough concept each year (i.e. we have a complete product, we take away 10 things, and we return them one by one annually and this baby will milk our customers for a dandy 10 years); - That deck stat feature (flexibility, synergy, etc.) is amazing - Tribal gobling deck??? My dream come true! Hope they allow some B into it, would love to see mad auntie and other nasty black goblins; Overall, while I'm mad they drip-feed us like we're not being taken seriously, having 10 new decks for like, 10 bucks or something, is worth it to me even if it would be in DLC form. I hate the fact they increase their profits in an evil corporate strategy based on barely managing our (customer) anger a bit, every year. Wish they could just be open about it, garner all user input and feedback into generating one comprehensive and amazing game, and then build on it. We're paying for new decks, not for failed programming. We'll keep buying, especially if they treat us well and deliver quality products.

Am I really gonna have to play 2HG with people who have 99 card decks? lol.
I'm gonna need some PSN/Steam/Xbox live invites from some competent forum goers when this game comes out.

I bet the white non-enchanted creature card that appears on the trailer in Jace's deck is Clone or a card with similar effect.

WOTC notice this post! Ive said it before, Ill say it again. Id be more than willing to pay $60 for a high quality polished product. Id be happy if they treated MTG like they do Madden, annual release. I'd buy it every year. Of course it would have to be polished, including many of the features this board asks for, like random deck, etc.
But then again Ill take DOTP and be happy, if it werent for DOTP I wouldnt get my magic fix.

Ha, at first I was going to shoot this down like a total jerk...But then I thought about something: The thing I wanted more than anything else for Duels '13 was more card unlocks per deck. At least twice as many. "40-50 would be great". THat way you could more effectively deviate from the core deck design (see: "Deck Flexibility" rating)
They gave me that. (Well, not me personally, but they put it in the game....)
Dream on brother.

Yeah I was actually really surprised to see 40 unlocks per deck, I've been wanting this too. I just hope the 40 unlocks are different enough from each other, maybe add some combo, control, aggro. So each deck could have 3-4 strong variations.

For the thread in general: Can we tell if a real End Step was implemented in this trailer? The phase bar looks pretty much identical to 2012's which leads me to believe it's not going to be included in the manner I would appreciate. Very disappointing if this is the case.
Proper End-Step is Confirmed Brodo.

I know, I just saw. I'm pretty stoked. Pretty much everything I was looking for in this next release seems to be there. Fun cards, end step. Guess I'm easily pleased. I also hope the card bugs are minimal, but they were never the one thing that upset me that much. Except maybe Woebringers glitch. That one ended up being a pretty glaring issue for as I seemed to run into it a lot.
