I disagree with some of your choices.

Sure, but the reason I've been running Revoke Existence preboard recently is because control is often just dead to sword, and Ring is often just a turn too late to stop the first sword hit. Furthermore, most of the decks running Swords can interact with Oblivion Ring , thus it's easier to make PWs a little tougher to deal with because his other tools for dealing with them are more sufficient than his tools for stopping sword blowouts.

Entreat the Angels is SUPER powerful, but in multiples it becomes progressively more clunky. It's a sweet ace-in-the-hole, but even in decks that filter in lands well it stumbles in multiples. Shrine, on the otherhand sits on the field for most of the game and rewards the deck for doing what it already is doing, so it's more welcome in multiples. Archwing Dragon is a little less dominating than Inferno Titan , but provides much more in the way of flexibility (which, to me, is a little more important), and consistency with the manabase (afterall Wurmcoil Engine would be his Titan of choice if he's looking for raw power.)

:P Not to argue or say that your points are invalid, just a different perspective I suppose.

that's no problem, sir.

O-ring, because a resolved Tamiyo gives you a headache. And Revoke Existence is more of a SB-Card vs. Swords Aggro (a.k.a RG Beats)
And O-Ring handels Wolfir Silverheart. It's just better Maindeck imho, because it can target everything. RE is too situational MD I think.

And while you're right on the entreat, you REALLY want to miracle it T4/5/6, because it get's you wins out of nowhere and buys time. And since the format ran out of counterspells lately, a save Entreat is just faster.

Sorry to sound like a broken record here, but both of you make very good points. It must just boil down to what is most popular in your area.

For me: I find that running Revoke Existence is better than Oblivion Ring in the Main Deck because I ran into a FNM that was about 50% R/G Agrro with Swords of War and Peace all over the place. At the same time, there were also a number of W/G Humans as well as W/G/r Humans ("r" for Huntmaster of the Fells of course). So, Oblivion Rings were being played a lot as well.

Of course, not to simply state the obvious but, that is just my area - and no doubt these players will change their decks as well as switch to different decks, but since getting hit with a Sword of War and Peace-ed Strangle Root Geist on turn 3 is almost an inevitability I think having a Revoke ready allows you to stabalize more quickly.

With me what kept happening was that I was being demolished in game 1 by SoWaP. I would side in all my Ancient Grudge to deal with it, as well as the one more Oblivion Ring. I was also using Surgical Extraction on the Sword/Strangleroot Geist whenever possible. At that point though it is an uphill battle.

The testing that I have done thus far has shown a considerably better matchup in game 1 when running Revoke in the Main across the gambit of most popular decks. I am testing against R/G Aggro, Wolf Run Ramp and W/G Humans (of varying flavors) The Revokes don't do much against Wolf Run Ramp, but they are very good against the other two decks. So I think that I tend to lean more towards Revoke in the Main and side it out for Game 2 against Wolf Run.

Although, I did go with the Oblivion Ring plan originaly. That extra mana, in a lot of games, meant being hit twice with the Sword instead of just once. Since this happened so early in the game, it basically amounted to "game over" on the spot, due to the fact that I had so many cards in hand.

Sorry for the long post but one more thing:
Adding more land was deffinitely the best thing I could have done, but I am not sold on Buried Ruin. In most cases I am looking for another Moutain and/or Plains. I almost never want a plain colorless land. BUT - I am still running a build closer to my original post so. ..  .. I still have to try your build(s) which are no doubt much better than my own. Also, Gideon Jura   is much better than Koth of the Hammer , so thank you guys again
