Ignoring the card abilities of legendary angels, Which one would be your fave in terms of backstory? Mine has been Akroma, angel of wrath  . She had a great back story and she was merciless. Who was yours?

I'm going to go with Radiant, Archangel  . And Barinellos, I think we share a hope that in a few months Feather will join the ranks of legendary angels.

In terms of general Angelhood, I'd go for Avacyn, Angel of Hope  . She exudes of Wrath and Fury in a very very classy way.  In terms of design, I'd go for Gisela, Blade of Goldnight  . Nice mish mash of warrior and grace. In terms of characterization, I'd go for Feather ( and I say she must have a card of her own for this Return to Ravnica!). I like that she isn't the usual "I smite you in the name of justice!" type of legendary angel.

Lyanii. Doesn't have a card and I don't think there are any depicting her (could be wrong, I'd foremost think of a sixth-edition-archangel, but with enough armor/clothes to hide the wings), but reading her draws me in more than it has with any other angel so far. There's something that empathically connects there.
(For those who do not know, she was the leader/marshal of the Serran refugees who settled in Devas, Benalia; red.)
