If I use an aura to take something, then someone uses Act of Treason to steal the creature, what happens? What if it were an effect like Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker ? I was thinking of putting Puca's Mischief into a deck, but I need to know how it interacts with things such as the above.

The last "gain control effect" wins.
You steal the creature using Mind control. They gain control of it temporarily. When the turn ends, you regain control of the creataure since it is still under Mind control.
… and then, the squirrels came.

So, effects like Blatant Thievery will keep the creature that has been mind controlled? What about Puca's Mischief? If I donate the mind controlled creature, will they keep it? If I donate the Mind Control, do they get the creature along side of it?

the last control change effect wins. if you change the controller of Mind Control (and it is the "winning" control change effect) the new controller will also control the creature

Blatant Theivery will override a Mind Control on a creature, as will Puca's Mischief. If you donate someone the Mind Control , they will also control the enchanted creature due to Mind Control's ability, but only if the Mind Control is the most recent control effect on that creature.

A little counterintuitive, but mkay. Gotta remember this if I ever make Zedruu again.

it is perfectly intuitive "you" always refers to the controller "you control enchanted creature" does exactly what it says it does

Think of it as Layers of paint. The newest Layer of paint is the one that is visible, and if it was only temporarily, the Layer under it will get through again.

Oh that makes sense with premanent and temporary steal effects, it when Auras get thrown in that it feels off.

An Aura is just another kind of permanent steal effect. It starts to apply when it is attached (that is when teh paint gets applied). If teh AUra is removed somehow, the Layer of Paint vanishes.
