I'd like some help with a Werewolf deck I'm working on, since I'm rather new to Magic. Here's what I have so far: Land: 11 Forest 10 Mountain

imo, you have too many random cards. decide if you want wilds or kessig (i like kessing but seeing as you don't have dual lands...) If you can afford it, i would run rootbound crag and copperline gorge run more full moon rise wolfbitten captive is a great drop early in the game. turn two you can swing for three. I like waif and young wolf for a quicker deck. i wouldn't run mists. werewolves are more about overwhelming with damage and you have moonmist. do you need to run five fogs? if you want to go midrange then it could work, if you want to go fast-not so much. same with prey upon . I've not been a fan of shaman. too slow. I would rather run gangs and outlaws. Someone suggested gatstaf shepherd as a good body I ran burn in my sideboard and naturalize , beast within , daybreak ranger . I do like immerwolf and huntmaster but i don't know how well they do together. and btw, I got my last huntmaster this week for 16 on a popular auction site

I might have a trade for another Huntsmaster coming in, does Cavern of Souls sound like a reasonable card to trade for one? And I think the Immerwolf and Huntmaster of the Fells might conflict (since the Huntmaster does the best when it keeps turning), but I'll play a few games to see how my current setup works out. EDIT: Wrong format for card names, fixed.

as of right now, prices for cavern is 24ish and the prices of hunters is 20ish
you can try it. just because you have one out, doesn't mean the other will be out too. or that one or the other won't be removed

I did a bit more tweaking (the new deck build is above), and played a few more games. In one of the games, I had 1 Young Wolf , 2 Howlpack Alpha and 2 Immerwolf on the field at the same time. The 2/2 Green Wolf tokens that were generated by the Alpha were actually pretty strong. I had about six 2/2 Wolf Tokens (with a non-token 4/4 bonus on each) on the field when I won. Also, in casual play, should I put my Garruk Relentless / Garruk, the Veil-Cursed in my deck?

I say keep the Moonmist. It's a fog when you need it (unless your playing against wolves) and It keeps your guys alive if you want to use it during your attack cause their blockers (unless they are wolves) do nothing to your guys. (and if you need some transformed before the attack its also good) I run x3 Immerwolf and Huntmaster in my deck and I never really have a problem. the way I look at it is that I have a 4/4 (5/5 with Immerwolf) all the time if i really need it and I have a Howlpack Alpha if i need wolf tokens, sure the life isnt there but oh well lol. I also run x1 Garruk Relentless in the deck as kind of a filler (one slot open and he was laying around) if anything you might have a young wolf out, use Garruk's 3 damage ability, wolfs undying will kick Garruk will flip and next turn you will have deathtouch blockers. also maybe Plummet or thunderbolt to take out flying creatures. Thunderblot might be good early game to cause it deals 3 even if they are not flying

Now that I think about it, it'd make my Mana costs and Land much more even if I left them out (52% and 48% for both land and costs, as opposed to the 54%/46% costs if the elves are included)... I guess I'll move them to my sideboard, and do a bit more tweaking as I need to.
