*Avacyn Restored



So the only change here is a... Misty thing in the background. The skies aren't clearer, and the land isn't very much more colorful. This thing in the background is the only change. So I take it it must be a flavor thing, right? I can't really tell what it is.

Does anyone know what this thing is? The only thing I can think of is is a decaying corpse of Griselbrand. But that's a huge shot in the dark and it doesn't really look like him at all. Anyone know? Any ideas?

Compare the other lands as well, they're also similar.

The wind effect seems kind of shaped like wings to me. Maybe symbolizing Avacyn's return?

But they have a far more drastic change. The only actual change in this one is that thing in the middle. And the grass is only about a shade brighter. There's no real change to the general environment in this one. That's what I find baffling.

Actually... Take a look at the version on the site. I think it's that house in the background! It got closer apparently. Soo.. I guess it's the spirits being freed? Feels kind of odd that the house moved about a quarter mile closer  though.
