Here's a mono black aggro deck I'm putting together just for kicks a giggles, but who knows? Might turn out to be beastly. 4 x Gravecrawler  4 x Treacherous Pit-Dweller  4 x Geralf's Messenger  4 x Demonlord of Ashmouth  2 x Blood Artist  2 x Dread Slaver  2 x Harvester of Souls  4 x Killing Wave  3 x Dismember  4 x Tragic Slip  2 x Doom Blade  2 x Go for the Throat  23 x Swamp  Sideboard: 2 x Memoricide  3 x Surgical Extraction  2 x Triumph of Cruelty  2 x Tribute to Hunger  4 x Distress  2 x Go for the Throat I've thought about working in a sac outlet like Bloodflow Connossieur  , but I'm not sure. I certainly have enough stuff mainboard to kill that treacherous little (big?) demon when/if he switches sides. Thoughts?

You probably don't need the Killing Waves. They're very high variance as to their usefulness and the good probably doesn't outweight the bad. Perhaps those slots could go to your extra sac outlet, the Bloodflow or Altar's Reap  or something else? Having a sac outlet that gains you profit will work out a lot better than 2-for-1ing yourself keeping them from getting your Pit-Dweller.

I kinda dig the Killing Wave s, though. Anything that goes to the grave nets me life, and it beats aggro strategies that flood the field with creatures. I suppose I could drop a couple and add in some Connossieurs in their place.

But it doesn't beat aggro strategies. When you cast Killing Wave, you have to sac your creatures/lose your life first. This lets them see what you have left on the field before they decide which of their creatures are relevant. And if they're another aggro deck, they are probably okay with losing a bunch of life to kill you on your next turn.

Each player would make their choices simultanieously.

Read the Gatherer rulings, the other players will know what you saved/sacced before they have to make their own choices. IMHO, Pit-Dweller is highly playable, but not in this kind of build. You need more instant-speed removal for your own guy that nets you value, like Altar's Reap or Fling  before he fits into a deck. Just having a sac outlet isn't enough, you want to get value off of it that's worth the -2 Card Advatage.
