So The situation is I am attacking with my Geist of saint traft , with a runechanters pike equipped. It is a 6/2 first strike. My opponent blocks with 2 4/4 creatures. I thought because Geist has first strike, it kills both of them, but my opponent dissagrees. Help us out. Thanks

Traft will deal 6 total damage to creatures blocking it during the first strike combat damage step. At best, this will kill only one of the blockers. (dealing 4 to one blocker and 2 to the other).
Then, in the regular combat damage step, the remaining 4/4 will kill Traft.
First Strike is not double strike. Was there a reason you thought a 6 power creature could kill 8 toughness worth of blockers?

Geist (Power 6) cannot kill two 4/4 (Total toughness 8).
He'll kill one and damage the other during First Strike Damage Step, then the survivor will kill Geist.

If I block your Grizzly Bears with two Grizzly Bears of my own (...don't ask) you don't get to deal two damage to each of them.
