I'm pretty certain it's with an "a". That's why the bird is in trample mode. Poor fella is was pretty darned upset by the third time, but the fourth took him over the edge.

All of my spell-check software seems to disagree.....unless you're being facieses, then yeah, I'm sure by the fourth time he'd be pretty pissed off.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in an thread with GM_Champion" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go in against AzureShade when card design is on the line!

Penguin March | Sorcery (Uncommon) Put a 2/3 Penguin token with Defender on to the battlefield. Then put a 0/1 Penguin Egg token with Defender, Soulbond and 'If this creature has power greater than or equal to three, it loses Defender', on to the battlefield. It has "If this creature is paired with another Penguin, it gains 'At the beginning of your upkeep put a +1/+1 counter on it'" The male Emperor Penguin has but one duty - to sit on the egg until it has hatched.
A bit wordy and crazy, I might try and re-word it before the competition closes. Thanks alot, vlord.

I completely misread quadraped the first time. My thoughts were, how did this happen to a bird, and why four times did it happen?
I was going to ask what exactly you thought happened to the poor bird but then I saw it. I assure you that no birds were harmed in the making of this contest. it was purely consensual.

The problem is that it is misspelled. It should be quadruped.
It appears you are correct. I always assumed it was spelt with an A since that's the only way I've heard it pronounced.

Contest closed. Grading has begun. Simonglume's Penguin March - 6.5/10. Okay, the name works as a land. It's snowy, that's good. It makes snowland walking penguins, that checks out. But why from a flavour perspective does it make all other lands snow lands? Mechanically the effect is interesting. It's the snow equivalnet of Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth . I'm not too sure wether that's awesome or just makes it too easy to splash snow. 0/1 effectively unblockable penguins are a weird bonus to put on there (at least from the mechanics side of things). Tevish_Szat's Giant Dodo - 7.5/10. Dodos do two things. They die and they get eaten (tastes like chicken). This dodo definately dies and I suppouse that card draw works as a bit of dodo killing reward. All dodos should have death triggers outweighing the benefit of the creature itself, that's pretty in line with the whole dodo thing. Mechanically this card works alright. Edacade's Guard Emu - 5.5/10. Wow this is the guard-iest card I've ever seen. Decent stats, defender and pumps another creature? Dang. The emu part doesn't come through as strongly though, looking at everything but the creature type and card name i'd have no idea it was a bird. Mechanically I worry that this may be a bit too good at stalling games and lead to some very slow limited matches (unless you pair it up with an evasive creature, in which case it could be over very quickly). Sebanovich's Giant Dodo - 8/10. It is large and it goes extinct. Flavour check and check. It is unusually aggressive for a dodo though, but agian I guess it works. On the mechanics side the drawback is irrelevant 90% of the time. In a grave focused block it could be important but it's unlikely otherwise. This card is above the curve but I beleive it is printable. Azureshade's Avian Quadraped - 7/10. I think this is a pretty neat card design. The flavour certainly works with the quadraped part but I don't see much bird here. Also you should have "if able" on the end of that rules text. Fenix's Grounded Griffin - 8/10. I sort of expected grounded griffin to be the runaway favourite here but apparently you're the first person to design one. Anyways, your griffin looks pissed that he's grounded, I didn't need to read the flavour text to pick up on that. The card itself is pretty solid. It looks a bit like a subtle hate card designed to bring down something specific. The bonus can be hard to activate but that keeps the card in check. Mind you sometimes these sort of bonuses are more about having your opponent dance around them then actually activating them. Dubius' Aian Quadruped - 8.5/10. This is great. It's a bird that doesn't fly very well but can stomp on things with its four feet... that sounds pretty weird out of context. Anyways it works here and the card looks pretty fun too. The stat boosts don't seem necessary though.
