So I wanna buid a deck with a bunch of mana producing creature and craterhoof behemoth as a finisher.. who has any ideas to make it not really fragile and be able to consistantly get pulled off like I want?
Ill post a list once I start getting some ideas together...

That's a good start... I really like somberwald sage in the deck though since I can pretty much tap it and go 2 town with the rest of my mana dorks... I don't know how much tangle helps either since I have no 2 drops really and no reasons to drop 2 birds on turn 1...
Anybody else have any ideas? Maybe splashing a second color since I hate playing mono colored decks lol

Keep in mind the major, undying flaw with these types of decks... You must over-extend. Especially with the brand new Terminus  and Bonfire of the Damned  , you need to be prepared. I'm not sure with what, but no matter what you do, you need to be prepared. Your best bet is a color-splash. Mono-green habitually sucks at disruption and protection.

Needs moar Garruk. Seriously. He's a planeswalker who looks out for himself in a deck thats largest problem is Wrath-like effects.
Considering you have no digs for Forests, and a low Forest count at that, Dungrove Elder seems very un-impressive.
Standard doesn't have many counterspells and you have about a bajillion different creature types. Cavern of Souls is, at best, a "break glass in case of emergency" one-use.
My best guess as to a deck of this type would be...
Birds
Elves
Zenith
1/2xCraterhoof
Toolbox
Garruks
Druids' Repository
2xEquipment
Which actually isn't that far off from what you suggested, but you need more Garruks, you need more Zeniths, and you need to use the Zeniths.

I really second the garruk needing to be at least a 3 of... card draw and search is something the deck would need... and relentless can tutor for behemoth...
I also like green suns as a way 2 toolbox when I need an answer for certain things...
Also I could run green splash blue for mana leaks and other counters so when my opponents try and board wipe I can say no and save my game from being ruined
