II've come across a few high valued cards from the new set from the sealed events. I want to trade them away while their price is high, but I'm not sure what to trade for.
I'm just looking for value, really. Anything I can trade easily later on, once I know what I want to build in standard.
Any ideas? Opinions?

I don't know that this question can be answered until M13 shows up. Lands and Planeswalkers generally hold value?

I was thinking of investing in some of the cheaper lands that have a strong color, like Sulfur Falls and maybe Razorverge Thicket.
What do you think about Huntsmaster? He's at around 20, which seems fairly reasonable. I can't see him drop more than a couple more dollars.
Snapcaster is also fairly low at 25, but that land could hinder his playability in standard.

Huntsmaster is multicolor, and assuming that Return to Ravnica is multicolor (which seems a safe bet) Huntmaster should hold value, unless of course the quality of Gruul cards just out class him.
Snapcaster seems to be a very solid Modern/Legacy playable card (unless "instants" somehow become bad, lol) so he should hold value as well.

Blue in general got a higher chance to hold it's value and even increase, black usually have a high chance of holding their value and sometime increase, the rest usually plummet once they rotate because there's simply better cards in modern/legacy/vintage that they cannot beat. There's a LOAD of exceptions, but this is usually the guidelines that I follow when I'm looking at standard rotation to buy cards cheap. (because I dont play standard and I'm happy to trade with you while the majority of your cards are losing value quickly and finding those few cards that I know will not drop that much or will even increase)
ALL planeswalkers lose half their value, minimum. Liliana of the veil, 65-70$ down to 25, Sorin lord of innistrad, 60$ to 25$, even Jace the meta sculptor didnt escape this rule, 100-120$ at his peak, down to 50-60$ now
I love trolls Dont hate me because I'm blunt and you cannot handle it

You are looking for a needle in a haystack. Basically cards that have value in legacy but none in standard will have the strongest long time gain. If mental misstep gets unbanned it is a good choice, it will probably get unbanned. Cards that have value in standard but none in legacy will have the sharpest falloff. Most cards are either good in both or bad in both. They generally get cut in half over 2 years and then over the next 5 climb back up to their previous level. It is kinda hard to guess. If you want the most assured easiest bounce I would probably go for the enemy colored duals since ravinica is coming up next. The problem though is they may print the whole shockland cycle again and then you would not see a big bounce. You would not lose any but may not gain much. Inkmoth nexus adaptive automaton asceticism black sun's zenith the enemy colored duals like clifftop retreat etched champion gravecrawler will never go down. heartless summoning until it gets banned. melira mimic vat puresteel paladin though it will only bump with each new set of equipment.(may be long wait) shimmer myr but only when the next artifact block cycles in.(may be long wait) spellskite spikeshot elder sundial of the infinite (they keep printing new come into play abilities) angelic destiny batterskull blightsteel colossus The garruks geist of saint traft glissa jin-gitaxis liliana mox opal sheoldred and skittles sword of feast and famine wurmcoil and thrun most of the miracles(these could do a sharp up if the next block includes any good library manipulation) Would be my guess for what holds its value best.

Anything in Avacyn Restored is going to have an inflated price because the product isn't spread out yet. I would sell anything you don't plan on using with a high price tag. Pretty much everything from the Scars block is going to devalue at rotation as well.
