Hi guys...i currently own 4 Levelers, and i'd really like to make a deck using them.
Currently i have no idea if it's better to manage to use the strenght of this creature (10/10), or to exploit it's ability by putting it between opponent's controlled cards...

Cheaper is better :D.

I've found in the internet this deck...but i definitely have some doubts.
1) I cannot understand what's the point in using Tel-Jilad Stylus, to increase the possibility of drawing a Leveler.
2) It seams to be really slow...i mean...if the winning condition is having a Leveler and a Beacon of tomorrows, i will need at least 13 mana...which won't be possible to get before turn 5 assuming, in a best (impossible) case scenario, where you start with a hand full of Cloudposts, 1 leveler and 1 Beacon.

What do you think? Any suggestion?

gitaxian probe is the only 'free' draw card I could find so you could play it the same turn as leveler ftw. also with mirror of fate manipulate fate becomes a tutor of sorts, I dunno, I'm kinda wonky at this

in laboratory maniac deck leveler seems great, outside it...its ust a 10/10 vanilla w a huuuuge drawback. u use him for his library ability no the stats.

as for the stylus i expect its there to keep having something to draw, but rly this is way too much setup for a creature of this power. If you want something big for cheap, just get quicksilver amulet and emrakul or the like, leveler is for library manipulation.

+ about a billion to Laboratory Maniac liking Leveller.
But Leveler isn't a great option for the Maniac mechanic.  It's slow, costs a lot of mana (making you vulnerable) in a deck that already suffers from being very vulnerable.  (ie. Maniac getting nailed)

Add to that Street Wraith .
The Wraith is INSTANT.  Much better me thinks.  

But;  If you do really like the Leveller for what it is, and want to inlcude other nightmare cards like Phyrexian Dreadnought ;
How about Torpor Orb ? 
You could then deny your opponents creatures having cool "enters the battlefield" effects, like Gatekeeper of Malakir , and inherit none of the drawbacks for you playing these MASSIVE threats. 
Find your Torpor orb from the deck quickly with tutors?   ....or transmute cards like SHred Memory ?
 
I would consider going Black/green, to add some Trample and Infect. 
   
A single hit with the Leveller with Infect will kill any opponent not running lifegain without a defence.
  Run trample to ensure you get a hit through.
Many cards to help a single massive creature get a killer blow, like;
  Overwhelming Stampede , Triumph of the Hordes , Glistening Oil , Grafted Exoskelton , Phyresis , Rancor , Dragon Fangs , Fists of Ironwood , Gaea's Embrace , Primal Rage ......there's literally heaps to choose from!

You could then supplement this with a "don't attack me" strategy for early game with deathtouch creatures like Typhoid Rats .
Maybe a few Naturalize or Gleeful Sabotage to get rid of stuff your creatures can't deal with.
