How does this effect work.  Can you only soul bound 1 creature at a time? Some one told me that you could target 2 creatures with soul bound such as the palidain with double s. and the other soul bound creature has death touch.

Soulbond works as described in the Avacyn Restored FAQ.

702.92d A creature can be paired with only one other creature.

Silverblade Paladin can be paired with Nightshade Peddler .  Regardless of which one's soulbond ability was responsible for the pairing, both would have double strike and both would have deathtouch.

No, I am not a judge.  That's why I like to quote sources such as the rules that trump judges.

soulbond (without u)

soulbond does not target
only 2 creatures can bond with each other, but if both have soulbond each gets both bonuses.
