Tried other sources and the best answer I can get is a maybe.. so I'll ask here and be done with it. Does Arcane Melee reduce flashback costs? I know the FAQ says it reduces miricle costs cause it is an alternate way to cast, so I would think it would work for flashback too. So please put my mind at ease.

It will reduce the total cost of the spell. To calculate the total cost of the spell, start with teh mana cost or alternative cost (flashback is an alternative cost), then add cost increasers (eg, Sphere of Resistance  ), then subtract cost reducers (eg, Arcane Melee  ).
