Just got to chime in here with my support for wurms.

While Legendary creatures are genearlly humanoid, sometimes they are just exceptionally powerful individual creatures.

Here's my take:

Primeval Godwurm
Legendary Creature - Wurm
Haste, Vigilance, Trample
~ can't be blocked except by creatures with a power or toughness of 3 or greater.
~ can't be the target of instants or sorceries your opponents control with a converted mana cost of 3 or less.
If ~ would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, shuffle it into it's owner's library instead.
12/12

First of all, let's be honest.  Any legendary wurm should be a Timmy card, and NOT a Spike card.  It shouldn't see tournament play on a regular basis.  Having said that, let's give Timmy a big fat creature he can rely on.  It should be answerable, but not easily.  We're looking for an Akroma-like creature in Green.

T1 - Entomb
T2 - Exhume
T3 - GG?

Even faster with Dark Ritual or Assault Strobe

Green normally doesn't get hasted things.  Not sure all the legendary wurms people are making should have haste.  How about something like:

Yadayada the Wurm

When yadayada comes into play it gains shroud and indestructible until the begining of your next upkeep.

P/T = A lot

Red is the hasty color, but black and green get it as well. Strangleroot geist , Vengevine , etc.

Also, maybe you should read the stuff you quote, like

If ~ would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, shuffle it into it's owner's library instead. 12/12

just give it protection from CMC 3 or less

But then you can't Giant Growth it, regenerate it, etc.

I think Green really wants to be able to buff their creatures.
Plus,  it is rare for any color besides White to get protecion.

Although, on second thought (and some research), apparently it's not as rare as I thought...

I also noticed that vigilance and haste are not very wurm-y features, and I don't favor their inclusion.

...

Timmy Gambles Everything - 4GGGG
Legendary Creature - Wurm
Trample, Hexproof, can't be countered

At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice all other creatures you control. For each creature sacrificed this way, gain 4 life and put two +1/+1 counters on Timmy Gambles Everything.

8/8

Agreed on the vigilance, but I was trying to say "this guy is so big he can attack and block"
Thought of a better idea though:  ~ can block while tapped.

As for Haste, I figure if you hardcast this guy you diserve to swing right away.

RE: Timmy Gambles Everything
Historically, Timmy does not like sacrificing his own creatures, or downsides in general.
Not particularly sure that's a downside on yours, but it is kind of weird.  Just saying.

I did read it.

Shuffling into the library is a terrible idea.

Commanders don't belong in the library.  The only benefit I can see from it would be that you can cast the card for the CMC each time you draw it... but you'd have to rely on drawing it.

if it is your Commander you have the choice to shuffle it into the library or put it in the command zone

I fail to see how that is a disadvantage (except for resurrection decks)
