Far to long that one of Green's most common big creature never had a Legendary version yet. Green needs this.
A big Wurm maybe P/T 9 or higher that can't be countered, Trample, and Hexproof.

shroud is a better mechanic, and only if it is M rare, and has cost of 8 minimum, need at least 3 forests.
I do agree though. legendary wurm is necessary for green.

They don't print shroud anymore. Just hexproof.

well hexproof can die out for all I care. shroud works better as a mechanic. Maybe when Hexproof is no longer prevalent in the game.

Hexproof is evergreen. I don't see a reason why they would get rid of it.
Why does shroud work better?

Hexproof and Shroud are both uninteractive mechanics.
One of them is a cost-free one-sided mechanic, the other comes at a trade-off - the card actually needs to be good to be played, because you can't just slap on a bunch of Swords or Auras or pump spells, or whatever.
It's really not even about giving niche cards to black.
It should be about giving black cards to Niche.

Novablast Wurm is kinda legendary. It's not monogreen though. I have no idea why it isn't legendary, with that flavor text.
Everything Mown does is elegant.

I think its because you either have two blockers, or one attacker if you play two. Or would both be destroyed? I hadn't really thought of that...but yes, legendary would be good for it, and wouldn't change much for it other than that it is legendary then.
Shroud is only better if your opponent controls a creature with shroud, as they won't be enchanting/equiping it. And that's only opposed to them having a hexproof creature; either in an opponent's control is a pain. If you have a creature with shroud, all of a sudden you can't make your creature better either, and you'll be wanting hexproof. That's how I see that, anyway.
If I'm right, I'm right. If I'm wrong, I still believe I'm right. Think of it as religion. dubito ergo sum.
