I'm really surprised Gavin said what he did about using Recurring Nightmare to get multiple uses out of Academy Rector . I hope that's not what the guy piloting the deck was doing, because that's not how Rector works...
Nope, that was just a mistake on my end! Nice catch, and thanks for pointing it out. This is a nice reminder to me that I need to start taking Academy Rector higher in cube drafts so I can play with it more...

I was looking at the big-sized version of the (wonderful and hyper-detailed) piece of art of Blood Artist in today's Arcana... People, do you realize that there is a freakin' blood-dripping woman hang-up by her feet in the background??? O_O

I first noticed that in the big version as well. It rather changes how aesthetic the piece is.

The angle of the view was what interested me the first time I saw the card. Then I realized, you're looking through the eyes of the model in that scene. He's looking back and forth between you laying on the table, and his canvas as he paints you. Between that and the body hanging in the background (which I'd never seen before at card size), this is a really unsettling painting.

Does this imply that Johannes Voss had his good friend Jana Schirmer laying on a table posing for him, while he was painting Curse of Oblivion 's piece of art? ^__^

Dude! Thanks for featuring my CMDR Deck video! It was recorded a while ago, so some things have changed, but if anyone is interested I always keep an up-to-date list on Tapped Out: tappedout.net/mtg-decks/fumiko-edh/

I have been playing a Fumiko The Lowblood commander deck for years. Some of the card choices are the same but mine is designed to be more chaotic. So much fun...people get really annoyed having to attack eachother early on.

BArtist is a cool card, glad to have it at 2 rather than 4 , makes a major difference. As soon as he blew it up and asked me what card it was, I definitely saw CoOblivion.

Hooray for finally a wallpaper that doesn't have an ugly corner on it!

On the other hand, no feet. Or legs.
I'd rather have a portrait format wallpaper than this.
