Yall are lucky! I wish I could come play pre-release. I'm in Spain TDY... Looking at the new cards, it appears to lean more towards humans/angels.

I ran UGw, splashing for Divine Deflection  , Terminus  , and Banishing Stroke  . The deck was mostly evasion creatures and pump creatures, with a few equipment and a Tandem Lookout  that provided me with many cards. I went 4-2-0 in the first 6 rounds and then lost the quarter finals. Got 3 packs as a prize and opened Sigarda, Host of Herons  in one of them.

I went to two prereleases. I recieved no Mythic Rare cards at all. My only rare of any value was Vexing Devil  . I won no prizes. The promo card was Moonsilver Spear  , and I recieved that as one of my rares both days. I also got Champion of Lambholt  as a rare both days. FML

Contrary to the impression given in another thread of mine here, I didn't even GET a promo - the place I went to said that because the event was a Helvault event that they wouldn't hand out the promo cards given the "special nature" of the event.

Sounds like they stole your promos. Give them a chance to give them back, and if they dont report them to Wizards.

That makes no sense to me.
If they spelled the ability out on the card in full then it would not be allowed in a mono-black Commander deck, but because they used a keyword to save space it is allowed?

Yup, just like you can have Birds of paradise  in a mono green deck but not Noble Hierarch  . YAY COLOR IDENTITY

I love this description. Like the cows are sponges filled with milk. I can see it all Nick Parks claymation-style with the cow's eyes bugging out momentarily as a giant farmer squeezes it like a squeaky dog toy, and milk shoots out of it.
