Can we get a sneak preview of what you have planned to replace "Savor the Flavor"? If nothing has been decided, may I request some sort of set/block-related storytime/storyline?
I have no problems, I could just use a bit of time.

Story/Flavor-wise, do you have any theories on what each of the colors could do at their pinnacle?
Also any chance of a set where the some of the Legends are Superheros and Supervillians?

You already said Ravnica was what you considered your best work (and I would agree with you; it and the Khamal/Mirari storyline were my two favorites), but what do you see as your biggest mistake, or to put it another way, the decision that you think (either through market research or just your gut) that was the biggest dissapointment to the playerbase in terms of flavor? I'm not sure if you would be comfortable answering this, and I understand if you choose not to, but I was just curious. How do you feel being the figurehead of all of Magic: The Gathering's flavor and creative workforce? Are there any flavor decisions behind the From the Vault sets? Does Creative choose which cards get new art, or is that a decision made by marketing after doing research? I imagine they are entirely a marketing department, but it'd be cool to hear they aren't, as FtV: Legends seems like it would have more flavor behind it than others (seeing as you guys avoided printing a lot of the more popular Portal commanders)

Does creative try to maintain a balance of walkers who are heroic or villainous?
Which color is hardest to write characters for? Easiest?

This may be something that may have been talked about before, or something you could not necessarily answer, but it's been bugging me for awhile so I'll just go ahead:
Is Wizards using the writings of philosophers and philosophical schools as a basis for the colour pie?

when Tetsuo Umezawa "killed" Bolas, Bolas vowed to take revenge on his entire lineage (and on the black Myojin, IIRC). when Bolas got "resurrected", we saw Madara "overrun" by Nekoru and Bolas with the mask of the black Myojin, whom he has defeated off-screen.
Has the Umezawa-line ended somehow before Bolas return? Did Bolas defeat the Umezawa-line off-screen like he did the black myojin? Or are there still Umezawas around?

When the core sets were revamped back in M10, one of the big pushes was for plane neutral, generic fantasy trope cards.
That seems like a misconception to me. M10 alone had Serra Angels, Shivan Dragons, Bogardan Hellkites, Llanowar Elves, and Darksteel Colossi that reference the lore of Magic past, introduced Xathrid, Kelinore and Kalonia as places in the multiverse, and with baloths, rhoxes, and viashinos used races that are pretty much Magic-exclusive - all far from generic, and that's just from the card names. I would say that the push was for flavorful, relatable fantasy trope cards, especially since much the same can be said for M11 and M12. That said, M13 seems to be more overt in its references, so it would be interesting to hear that answer.

What Otu said. Resonant =/= familiar. You don't have to know who Serra is to appreciate Serra Angel , likewise Shiv and Shivan Dragon , what Darksteel is and Darksteel Colossus , etc. They're all familiar and resonant fantasy tropes channeled through a specific location. Sure, it's probably true that those of us who are heavily entrenched in Magic's lore can enjoy these cards on a deeper level than someone brand new, but they're still recognizable imagery to those who aren't.

Will we ever be given a concrete or semi concrete timeline....or will we be left we a vague inconsistant timeline that doesn't really match up.
