I know it sounds impossible, but I really want to try. See, I have this playset of Humility and Orim's Prayer sitting in my binders, and I really want to make a deck with them. The point is, most of the time people played against my Humility deck in the past, they just sighed and basically stopped enjoying the game as soon as it hit the table. (Admittedly, I played it alongside Dovescape back then, which I really do not want to do this time around.) Since people did not want to play against it anymore, I eventually took the deck apart. I really disliked the whole flavor of Innistrad and Dark Ascension so I haven't been paying much attention to the new stuff lately, but when I saw the card Gavony Township I immediatley thought of a Humility token kind of strategy. So I have been thinking about this deck for a while now, but I have the deckbuilders equivalent of a writer's block, so I need some help. The cards displayed are the skeleton of the decks, but I'm stuck as to what to add. Thoughts?

people hate humility decks because Humiity is just an awful card to play against. Honestly I can't see anyone having fun against humility, it just shuts down everything. The biggest problem with Humility isn't the 1/1 effect, it's that it makes all creatures lose all abilities. That's what sucks about the card. what you CAN do is use Godhead of Awe instead. It gives the 1/1 aspect while still letting your opponent use their abilities. this also puts Humility on a creature, which is easier for decks to deal with. as for the fun aspect, Red, Green and blue traditionally have the wackiest interactions, so look there for ideas.
I would have killed, literally ended someones life, to NOT have Arrogant Bloodlord riding a giant ant... Good times: Spoiler:

but where DID the other fork come from? Spoiler:

Lord_Zed: I was at my friends house when this happened. He's married and his wife was an excellent baker. She had baked a homemade apple pie the night before.
I was hungry, and my friend convinced me to try those low carb monster drinks. Before this day, I had never triend energy drinks before.
Boy was I in for a treat.
When I tried that first monster, I really enjoyed the flavor, but the taste that it left in my mouth wasn't so good. What was my solution? Drink another!
before I could finish drinking that 2nd monster, I felt it already kicking in(these drinks were not very far apart, we're talking minutes here) my friend decided that it was a good idea to whip out that fresh pie his wife made the night before. I didn't know what to do, since I felt incredibly invigorated, and at the same time, freaked out by the rush I was feeling, but I was also hungry, and my friend have me an entire plate with a fork and said "help yourself." He extended his saucer to me, and I cut him a piece of the pie and handed it to him, then I looked at the pie, noticed that the pie was in an aluminum holder, and dumped the entire pie onto my plate and started eating it with 2 forks. I don't know where I found that other fork, it probably came from my friend. Anyhow, his wife wasn't happy, and I was already in magical christmas land. 2 days later, I was in my friends bed and I slept for 14 hours.
His wife outlawed my from having any of her baked goods for a while(which sucked because I could just show up at there house, steal some sweets, and leave) and said I couldn't have any energy drinks at her house, unless under close watch.
My friend, on the other hand, had to take me out to a steak dinner, because apparently I won a bet where I climbed a tree and didn't die.
The great land debate: Spoiler:

Zendikar had fetchlands, and Worldwake had manlands. What are the new Scars duals called?
Explosive Peanut Lightning lands. Well, that's just what I call them.
i'm just trying to figure out what the point of saying this is. it's just really random.
And so the pot met the kettle.

Godhead of Awe is also a good replacement yes, but then I would still have the "I have a playset of Humility wasting away in my binder" issue . So i'll stick to Humility for now. As far as the token strategy is concerned, I love Parallel Lives, I just happen to have some Doubling Seasons as well, so I'll be using those instead because it also doubles the effects of the Gavony Township. There are various spells that create multiple tokens, like Spectral Procession or Conqueror's Pledge . Do you know of any more permanent token creators? Or some sort of 'engine' so I can repeatedly reuse these spells?

Making Humility fun to play agains, eh? The best way to do that is probably to do somethign exceedingly weird, likeley involving Opalescence ... okay, that might be more "headache inducing", but it's abundantly silly to actually apply your beatdown WITH the Humility.

one would be to tech your playmates to use counters/disenchants another would be to use either card but not both finally you can have it as the defensive combo of a spectacular and fast wincon deck, as long as the game is fast decks can be as powerful as you want so long that you dont insist on playing it again/often if opponent doesnt stand a chance... alliance of arms and massacre wurm is fast if uninterrupted fx.
