Can you block to kill? Like if i had three 1/1 creatures and my opponent attacks me with a 4/3, Could I block with my 3 creatures to kill it?

yes the 3 creatures would kill it, but your 3 creatures would also die. He would decide on how his damage will be divided to the blockers.

That's not fully correct anymore. The attacking player needs to assign a damage assignment order for the creatures blocking his attacking creature at the time blockers are declared. In the combat damage step, he then must assign lethal damage to the first creature in line before he can assign damage to the second in line and so forth.
I'm a Rules Advisor now  "Simple questions" usually need rather complex answers, while complex questions often come down to no more than a simple "yes" or "no". Some of my favorite Flavor texts:
