Ororzia is still on her fountain, doing her thing.  Angels and their righteous, well armed flock are storming out of the city center, tearing into cultists nearby.

Irreverent commentary on the pace of the game Show

One thing I am noticing is that claiming a territory seems powerful (3 free power) but that the demon's ability to squash little places like that, especially when some players new to voting games start claiming willy-nilly.  The problem is angels are much more defensive.  However this is balanced, maybe too well balanced.  

If the Angel ability was like the Demon ability, hurting all around it, then this game might already be over.  The angels would just build and build and build, slowly killing the demons around them.  But that would break the balance we have now.  

This game does seem to be at a stalemate.  Anyone adding up the numbers each day sees that both teams totals just keep going up.  Lifegain is prevalent on both sides, but even the demon's more offensive abilities aren't enough to keep the angels in check.  The endgame needs to happen before the game will slow down and start to end.

Given the laziness and morbid obsesity amongst D&Ders, being able to convince someone to get on their feet, do some heavy exercise, and use their words to make them be healthier must seem magical.

Sorry I've been out.  Rough work week.


Their efforts, combined with some intervention by a rather powerful group of angels, had allowed the team to take most of the area around the Eastern wall.  Many of Susan's team returned to their bar, content that the war was near over.  Susan wasn't so sure.  She embarked on a scouting trip to the central region, where Pete had mentioned cultists had attempted to summon a demon a few months before.  Worse, they were vampire cultists.

This was something she had to do.  She had to put her past behind her...
