"I looked at Sorin, then the BW combonation and was like 'It's a TRAP!'" Lol, awesome. I thought so too. I didn't even bother to include him. Lots of cards and removal here for the Burning Vengeance deck. Another Burning Vengeance would be nice, but Headless Skaab and the Test Subject seem like fine alternatives. Probably best to play the Subject late in the game when your opponent's removal is burned out and you don't think flashback will win it for you. I like it. Fairly obvious UWb build, although I feel I should cut something to fit in at least one think twice to get more value from all the self-milling zombies.
- U gives you plenty of solid guys, silent departure and Test Subject.
- W fills out the curve nicely and gives some decent removal and Humans for the cleaver.
- Sorin is good enough that the B splash seemed worth it.
- B and R were too short on creatures to be a main colour, and green doesn't offer much better creature quality the U or W with no bombs or removal.

It looks like it's low on creatures, but you have tokens from sorin, tokens from gather the townsfolk and you have the gargoyle, so I think this is the best option with tons of removal This Deck was built in 0:09:34 Total Deck Size: 4017 Lands --------------- 6 Mountain 7 Plains 4 Swamp 11 Creatures --------------- 1 Afflicted Deserter 1 Bloodcrazed Neonate 1 Doomed Traveler 1 Farbog Boneflinger 1 Feral Ridgewolf 1 Gavony Ironwright 1 Hollowhenge Spirit 1 Manor Gargoyle 1 Russet Wolves 1 Slayer of the Wicked 1 Thraben Sentry 11 Other Spells --------------- 1 Blasphemous Act 1 Blazing Torch 1 Brimstone Volley 1 Burden of Guilt 1 Butcher's Cleaver 1 Fires of Undeath 1 Gather the Townsfolk 1 Increasing Ambition 1 Into the Maw of Hell 1 Skillful Lunge 1 Warden of the Wall 1 Planeswalkers --------------- 1 Sorin, Lord of Innistrad

Hey guys, i'm pretty new to limited and trying to improve a lot, so any constructive criticism would be great. To dusk007, I got the impression limited was a creature format, so i'm curious about how you have few creatures. Would that deck hold it's own you think?
While I would normally go straight into black/white, due in large part to Sorin, I find deck building very fun and try to think outside the box when I deck build. I knew that a lot of people would post decks with Sorin in it, so I figured I would avoid that route all together. Instead, I looked at a color combination I don't normally run, red/blue, and decided to try my hand at making a deck with those colors. Will it play? Who knows. It would all depend on what the others in the tournament got for cards. I just like to have fun playing Magic. As my fiance described me, I sit in the grey area between casual and competive play.
