I always thought that multiplayer mill was a hard deck to pull off. Although I've never tried it, and there are none played at my table, I figured it would be hard to deck everyone at a big table. There are a ton of great cards for milling but most of them require you to select one target player ( Glimpse the Unthinkable , Traumatize , etc). A multiplayer mill deck needs to be resilient and have the endurance to stand againts multiple opponents (obviously). I think you would be able to benefit from Undead Alchemist in this deck. Any creature put into an opponents GY from their library nets you a 2/2 zombie. Any zombie that hits a player causes them to discard that many cards instead of life loss. Jace's Erasure would also be a good choice I think. I think the Riddlekeeper and Propaganda are counter productive. Both are deterring people from attacking you, and with both out, the chance is small that anyone will. Negating the Riddlekeeper s ability completely. Cathartic Adept would be a decent cheap creature to help the mill. Edit: Hedron Crab !!

Forced Fruition , Pendrell Mists (good with Propaganda ), Whetstone , Evacuation and Fog Bank all come to mind as cards that could help finish off your deck. I probably wouldn't even bother with Jace, especially since Propaganda doesn't even defend him. You don't need 4 K.Stones either, since they're only good later on. Xav, you're overlooking one crucial aspect of gameplay with your analysis; his ability to survive. What, if anything, is going to stop people from killing him if he removes the Keepers and/or Gandas? Why would people choose to get milled out when they could easily swat him like a fly? These decks have to play a lot of defensive cards because the alternative is to outright lose. Remember, Ganda + Mesmeric Orb (+ Pendrell Mists ) is a big game. He has to win fast before he just outright loses.

From experience, MP mill is quite possible, and the OP features the two key cards to do so: Mesmeric Orb and Dreamborn Muse . In fact, the only thing that the OP deck is missing is some means of resetting itself. I prefer to add a pair of Gaea's Blessing (supported by a playset of Simic Growth Chamber for emergency hardcasting), but others like one or two of the mythic Eldrazi or Elixir of Immortality . For giggles, some forms of bounce may prove useful, if only to fill opposing hands and then make them tap more land to mill via the orbs. Note that Propaganda and Mesmeric Orb is an evil mix. Despite its potential, I am not a fan of Keening Stone; Drift of Phantasms , though, can transmute for all sorts of interesting cards. Tich mentions Forced Fruition. This card always disappoints me, so if it works for you, let us know, as I am looking for a home for my pair. Cheers!

I agree that this deck needs to be playing defensive cards to survive, but the combo of Riddlekeeper and Propaganda seems redundant to me. I wasn't suggesting to drop them both, I'd definitely be running Propaganda . He is already running Wall of Frost as well. There's a slim chance people are going to be attacking him early game as it is. If people don't attack him then Riddlekeeper is just a 1/4 body. Hedron Crab would gaurentee some mill and it still gives a 0/2 body just in case.
Like I said I have absolutely 0 experience with a MP mill deck. Haven't played with or against one. Ever. I figured a reliant, recurring source of mill would be better than a milling deterrent. But that's probably because I want to include Undead Alchemist in every mill deck ever.

I suspect that Forced Fruition is just one of those cards that refuses to work for me. There have been others over the years, cards that simply do not show up in play no matter how many copies are in a deck or how frequently that deck is played. The potential for greatness is there, but still... If feeling froggy, add G and B to the deck for access to Vulturous Zombie - it grows quickly in MP mill. Just be sure to provide some protection for it! Cheers!

A friend of mine has a mill deck based around milling himself, instead of everyone else. Most of the cards are aimed at him achieving the Laboratory Maniac win-con. The all-star is a card that lets you choose a small number of cards to put in your hand, and get rid of the rest of your library, replace your library with your hand and play on. I can't remember what it's called?!?! ...whatever it is, it's a "KILL HIM" when he pulls it off. EDIT: Doomsday seems to be similar, and may do the job just as well.
