I tried once with Gideon as the first pick, but the deck didn't seem that great.  So I went again and got a much better deck:

Round 1:
Blood Ogre
Gorehorn Minotaurs
Vampire Outcasts
Chandra's Outrage
Shock
Bloodrage Vampire
Goblin Fireslinger
Tectonic Rift
Tormented Soul
Act of Treason
Giant Spider
Goblin Bangchuckers
Sacred Wolf
Mind Unbound
Plains

Round 2:
Goblin Piker
Flameblast Dragon
Shock
Sorin's Thirst
Adaptive Automaton
Deathmark
Duskhunter Bat
Goblin Tunneler
Brink of Disaster
Duskhunter Bat
Levitation
Manabarbs
Angel's Feather
Titanic Growth
Swamp

Round 3:
Fireball
Fling
Incinerate
Dragonskull Summit
Blood Ogre
Tormented Soul
Blood Ogre
Goblin Grenade
Tormented Soul
Time Reversal
Hideous Visage
Bloodrage Vampire
Goblin War Paint
Reclaim
Mountain

Deck:

Creatures -16
1cc
Goblin Fireslinger
Tormented Soul x3

2cc
Goblin Piker
Duskhunter Bat x2

3cc
Blood Ogre x3
Bloodrage Vampire x2
Adaptive Automaton

4cc
Gorehorn Minotaurs
Vampire Outcasts

6cc
Flameblast Dragon

Spells - 8
1cc
Shock x2

2cc
Sorin's Thirst
Fireball
Incinerate

3cc
Act of Treason
Hideous Visage

4cc
Chandra's Outrage

Lands - 16
Dragonskull Summit
Mountain 6
Swamp 9

Some of the cards cut are great, but just had to find room for everything.  Bloodthirst in this deck is incredible and has all the enablers you need for it.  Hideous Visage and Fireball are finishers, along with a huge Dragon should you get that far.   Plenty of removal that also can act as too the face kill.

I haven't done one of these for a while, but going W/B gives you a bunch of sick removal and flyers. Any deck with three Wring Flesh and Stormfront Pegasus is a good one. I probably made a few mistakes though

Vampire Outcasts
Gideon's Lawkeeper
Wring Flesh
Bloodrage Vampire
Peregrine Griffin
Blood Seeker
Tormented Soul

Today's draft is all about the second pick.  No-one is going to pass Jura P1p1 but then you open a pack with a very mediocre white card and strong cards in black, red and blue.  I took an age to decide between them but ended up taking the black as the opening pack's next two best cards were Blood Ogre and Azure Mage so I assume the next two drafters are going to be in red or blue so I take the black.  It made me feel much happier when, after my draft, the next 4 players to my left were in red as that would severally have cut the red that was open for me.

Anyway, here are the picks and the deck.  The deck ended up being very strong with a ridiculous amount of removal.  Someone did say you can never have too much removal but still.

Deck seems a little week.  I was trying to pull a good balance between creatures and spell, but I didn't realize I had pulled so many spells.  I should have pulled more creatures.  I threw all the creatures I had, except Maniac Vandal that I will side in against artifacts.  Blue was limited on good selection, but it did give me some flying.  I thought about putting Gideon Jura and Serra Angel into the deck for some bigger creatures as a finisher and/or to help with late game.  I thought the double white was to intensive for a splash.  Without mana fixing, I would need to run a minimum of 4 Plains.

I may have an issue with drawing my creatures, but clearing a path for them to do their damage shouldn't be to hard.  Almost every non-creature spell in the deck can remove a blocker.  9 spells that can remove blockers, not including Fling .   Even Turn to Frog can act as a removal spell.  I can use this spell with Goblin Arsonist to remove 2 creatures.  Act of Treason can be a temp removal/damage spell.  It can remove a blocker and gain a creature for extra damage.  Throw in Fling , they become both, permanent removal and direct damage.  Possibly taking out another creature defending player controls for a 3 for 2.  Ponder will help me find the right spell, or maybe a creature if needed.  And the counter spells will help keep my limited number of creatures on the board.

Not sure how this deck would do in a match-up.  I've never had a deck with this much DD in limited before.  I think it could win some games, but it may stall out mid game.  Let me know what you think of the deck/draft.  Oh, should I have taken Volcanic Dragon over Fireball P3p1?  I debated over these two for some time, probably would of had time called on me in a real draft.  I choose Fireball because it can be a finisher, even though I was low on creatures and only had 1 large creature.

Griffyn,

I have to say that I have a few concerns about your deck this week.  I know you have identified this but you have only got 10 creatures of which 7 die to every removal spell in the set (given that 6 have 1 toughness and the phantasmal dragon dies when targeted).  You have the nice Tunneller-Hellhound combination but that is probably only going to get you, maybe, a single game win.

You do have a huge amount of removal but its not likely to be able to deal with a well made deck as you will kill their early creatures but then be left with a shock to deal with their basilisk or giant spider.

Also, Gideon is such an amazing card that if you open it you need to build your deck so that you can play it.  Gideon is better than every card in your deck and Serra's Angel would be better than most of the others.

I will do a quick walkthrough, taking your picks showinh where I think it went wrong this time (or, at least, where I would go different).

Gideon Jura - I don't think anyone is going to disagree with this
Shock - if you want to go red, I think Minotaurs is better but you may well not be wanting to follow double white with double red.  Remember, you have now passed Blood Ogre and Minotaur so you are giving a clear signal to the people next to you that you are not in red.  This will hurt you in pack 2.
Mana Leak - I agree there are a lack of good white or red cards in this pack so I can see why you took this but you now have 3 different colour cards from the first three picks.
Chandra's Outrage - white outrage is good removal, Lawkeeper is an excellent card and should be considered similar to removal himself.  Its a tough call between them but I personally prefer the Keeper as each turn it deals with their best creature (until it dies of course).
Shock - I think Shock is the safe pick here although you need to consider that you don't have any creatures yet.  Both Warhorse (for white) and Fleetwing (for blue) could be considered here.
Manic Vandal - this, I think, is your first major error.  Griffin is a fine creature, its in the colour with your best card and the only thing stopping you going is Mana Leak, which really isn't all that amazing.  I definitely would have taken the Griffin here even with what had gone before.
Goblin Fireslinger - again the Griffin is just better.  You are not going to be bloodthirst, you have passed two of the best red bloodthirst cards and you aren't going to be in black.
Tectonic Rift - you will never play this card.  There are 3 reasonable white cards in this pack and I don't understand why you are avoiding white.
Tormented Soul
Blood Seeker
Unsummon - see how late Manic Vandal goes?
Fog - both of the other cards here are better than the Fog.
Sacred Wolf
Runeclaw Bear
Plains

So by the end of pack 1 you are solidly in Red.  You have a bomb in white, 2 okay black, green and blue cards.

Round 2:
Phantasmal Dragon - At this stage, see my comment above, you really have to decide on your second colour.  There is nothing pushing you into blue at the moment from the previous round but you take a double blue card here and cement yourself in .
Incinerate - If you had gone white, O-Ring is better but otherwise this is fine.
Tectonic Rift - This really is a terrible card - take the Cutthroat if you are determined to be
Fiery Hellhound
Fiery Hellhound - Merefolk Looter is a much better card than the Hellhound.  It allows you to get rid of extra land and dig for the card you need.
Skywinder Drake
Onyx Mage
Goblin Tunneler
Grand Abolisher
Fling
Levitation
Manabarbs
Flight
Ponder - this should never go this late and is a great pick up for you.
Swamp

Round 3:
Fireball - I think this is better than the Dragon and was a good call.
Serra Angel - Why take a double white card when you have completely abandoned white?  P3p2 is definitely too late to switch back.
Incinerate - Belltower Sphinx is possibly as good as Incinerate anyway and in your deck you already have lots of removal but are in desparate need of creatures.
Goblin Fireslinger
Blood Ogre
Cancel - I think Lightning Elemental here.  Its not the best card by a long way but it is a creature.
Skywinder Drake
Goblin Arsonist - Cutthroat is the better pick here.  You have a lot of removal, you are not bloodthirst and a 4 toughness body is really going to help.
Act of Treason - I think Hellhound here just for more creatures.  Yes, it is cute you have the Treason, Fling combo but you need both cards to pull it off and the Hellhound is just more consistent here.
Turn to Frog - Merefolk again is better here as you need creatures and already have a ton of removal.
Hideous Visage
Turn to Frog
Goblin War Paint
Reclaim
Mountain

Just my thoughts.
