Todays other DKA card to rate is... Undying Evil Spoiler:
Show
5.0: I will always play this card. Period. 4.5: I will almost always play this card, regardless of what else I get. 4.0: I will strongly consider playing this as the only card of its color. 3.5: I feel a strong pull into this card’s color. 3.0: This card makes me want to play this color. (Given that I’m playing that color, I will play this card 100% of the time.) 2.5: Several cards of this power level start to pull me into this color. If playing that color, I essentially always play these. (Given that I’m playing that color, I will play this card 90% of the time.) 2.0: If I’m playing this color, I usually play these. (70%) 1.5: This card will make the cut into the main deck about half the times I play this color. (50%) 1.0: I feel bad when this card is in my main deck. (30%) 0.5: There are situations where I might sideboard this into my deck, but I’ll never start it. (10%) 0.0: I will never put this card into my deck (main deck or after sideboarding). (0%).
This card is good. Though I don't think it's quite as good as some people make it out to be. I will still generally always play this card though as it can lead to great things. 3 Discuss!

It's definitely turned out to be better than most people were giving it credit for at the beginning of the set. I would say 2.5.

This card is much better than I first thought. Probably a 3 for me now and I would consider splashing it for certain decks (especially out of the sideboard if my opponent had a lot of removal).

I underrated this card at first, and then once I saw its potential, I think I overrated it for a bit. 2.5 seems right to me now. Certainly the value goes up the more bombs you need to protect, and it's bonkers with Morkrut Banshee .

2.0.
I'm the reverse of most people here - I think I was overrating it at first, and have settled on it being pretty good. Really good with Morbid shenanigans.

I like it with Black Cat . I once hit someone with the cat discard 4 times in one game. With only one cat.
2.5 to 3 for me, depending on how late it's going.

3-3.5. I've just written an article evaluating Undying and it just made me realize exactly how good this card is. Used correctly, it's always a tempo play that trades 1-for-1 with an opponent's card and just has so much added value. Lots of creatures that you can target in this set have beneficial abilities upon death or ETB, it's not even funny. Yes, Morkrut Banshee is one way to use it but there is a kabillion others and a lot of them are good, some of them even better than the banshee. I don't think I've ever first-picked this, but... It's been close.

I just got two of them in the sealed pool that I'm playing and I have to say that there's a certain warm and fuzzy feeling having it in your hand with a bomb on the table and an untapped swamp and thinking, "My bomb is safe*. Play your Brimstone Volley and he'll only get bigger." I also have a Morkrut Banshee , so I'm hoping to get the chance to use that little trick too. * Not withstanding something like Sever the Bloodlines or double removal of course.
