Avacyn Restored is a draft alone set. Thus, all examples in this article are useless.

Really confused by this article. I don't think anyone told Steve that AVR drafts are AVR-AVR-AVR.

What was he supposed to do? Use examples from AVR? Because we haven't seen any, really. He didn't really have a choice but to use INN and DKA examples.

Another thing sounds confusing to me: does soulbound really work as Steve says? He says that if a soulbounded creature with undying dies, you can pair the returning "undead" creature with the original soulbound creature... Does it really works? I thought that soulbound triggered only when the creatures with soulbound enters the battlefied unpaired, not when any other creature enters the battlefield with an unpaired soulbound creature on it... But I could be wrong with that, I'd have to read again soulbound official rules (don't have the time to do at the moment).

Yes, if this cards partner died you can pair it with a new creature when it comes into play. That is why I really like this guy. You can send in the partner to sneak in some extra damage or hold it back to trade with a guy should your opponent want to attack. If at any time they make the trade you can just make a new guy for him to pal around with.

I know the rulings are
"When a creature with soulbond enters the battlefield, you may pair it with another unpaired creature you control. When another creature enters the battlefield under your control, if you control a creature with soulbond that isn't currently paired, you may pair it with the new creature."
But why doesnt the text on the cards say under your control anywhere? This is what makes it confusing. I get it, I like it but I think someone messed up

It does. Check the last part of the reminder text: "They remain paired for as long as you control both of them."
And so people say to me, "How do I know if a word is real?" You know, anyone who's read a children's book knows that love makes things real. If you love a word, use it! That makes it real. Being in the dictionary is an artificial distinction; it doesn't make the word any more real than any other word. If you love a word, it becomes real. --Erin McKean, Redefining the Dictionary

Soulbond is a bit better then I thought. I didn't realize in the first article when it was talking about the mechanics that it can pair with creatures coming into play if the soulbond creature is unbound. I thought it only triggered when the soulbond creature came into play and lasted only as long as either creature was alive and became dead when either creature died and the only way to recover the ability was to play another soulbond creature and pair with the unbonded soulbond creature.
Pairing this card with Silverblade Paladin would be pretty nasty.

They really should let the writers spoil a few cards each to actually be able to talk about their article... I mean geez, is it that necessary to withold like 7 good draft cards this card would've been good with?
