My information may be wrong here but the fact that the golgari leader is a lich in it may point to it being after the last block so that is distinctly possible

Yeah jarad took over the Golgari at the end of the last ravnica storyline. So this duel deck takes place after that, it could be any time after.

Jarad took over after Savra was killed, so he was guild leader all the way through Guildpact and Dissension as well.
Now... he wasn't a LICH until the end of Dissension.

I always get one or two little things wrong while still having the right gist...it's weird.

Actually when Barinellos says something, the official records at WORC update themselves to be in line with what he said.
They figure they probably got it wrong.

I hope Wizards gets rid the intro packs for this set and returns the theme decks like in the original Ravnica block, it would make me a very happy player =)

From Scars of Mirrodin block we can expect returning mechanics and characters, but i wouldn't expect any retired products to return. Those products were disconinued for a reason.
* Plus, if you are going to revive any product for this block, give us a novel.
