I think this creature is playable in POD.

If you want to go BUG it replaces Blade Splicer. (though it obviously isn't as good)

According to everyone on these forums. You should only play the best decks in whatever format you want. You are a bad player and should just quit if you intend on using anything else.

Because that was all the way back in ravnica.  And Bob is 35 bucks on TCGplayer.

It was revealed to me in a dream.  All the cards were in my dream except for three slots which I plugged in as Vault Skirge.

FULL DISCLOSURE:  The dream was post AVR so there was a copy of Slayer's Stronghold.  I decided to keep it pre AVR in my post here.

EDIT: I just remembered.  The Skirges might have been 2x Whipflare and 1x something else, probably War and Peace.

EDIT2:  Currently 4-0 in my first four games with this.  My opponents have been very angry.  I fought off a Wurmcoil from Grixis for six turns before I found my second Dispatch.  Jeez, I can do a lot of damage.

EDIT3: Streak broken.  Lost to an unexpected Overrun.    Cracking a Shrine for 10 wasn't enough.

How Kedi tests his decks:

also, I've been playtesting this deck in my sleep today
that kinda freaked me out

Dark Confidant is 12 on mtgo. Thoughtseize is 6. Blood Crypt is 15 and Verdant Catacombs is 5. All bought and paid for by dumping Obliterators and Liliana.

The fact that you can get Bob at a lower price than Liliana or Obliterator does not make the latter two better cards. The problem isn't Black's lack of expensive singles. It's a lack of format defining presence. The color as a whole hasn't been given anything great in far too long, perhaps since Ravinica.

That wasn't my point. The point is, I dumped all of the pricey, obsolete(made so by AVR) cards and bought cards that define black as a color.

I wouldn't play it. I ran it for a short time in a BUG pod build and it was pretty awful. 2 2/2s if you pod into it is kinda nice, especially when you get your 3/2 Geist back anyway, but it's only relevant early or if you're on your back foot. Of course it's awful without morbid, and it's a horrible topdeck. I honestly only tried it because of BUG's sparse selection of 3 drops.

I agree about black in general. It seems like a support color that lets blue kill things, or it just gets splashed for Lingering Souls.

But not in standard......

Black last great card Bitterblossom.

That was his point. Black has been pretty bad in standard for a while.

And Wakedancer is a bad card. If you're that desperate for a 3-drop in BUG, play AEther Adept. You're welcome for just making your sub-optimal pod deck better.

EDIT: The reason that you don't really want to play BUG pod is that your pod chains tend to be less impressive and less board impacting. Though you get the upside of being able to have a more resilient deck when you have pod out.
